Wow.
Holy shit.
It's like nobody is safe anymore, things really are... well, escalating.
DeMarco killed off, Hood shot in the leg, Scruggs getting his throat slit. Good going, George R. R. Schlerf! :P

RIP Demarco, seriously i'll miss him, he shouldn't have been killed off in a comic but oh well
I hope Halo 5 escalates shit even more at top crazy tier. 343 make it happen
-
Was not expecting
Demarco's death
at all. Holy -blam!-ing shit.
-
Demarco was killed?
-
Yes. He was killed by a Banshee that bombed the Tyrant AA gun he was manning.
-
Oh man lol , maybe this clears the way for Thorne to take over Majestic?
-
I hope they do I was always interested in Thorne I think he has potential to become a great character.
-
Maybe, maybe...
-
Demarco was a twat and a fool, but he was our twat and fool :(
-
Someone should make a memorial video of him. It'll be funny and sad because all we have him doing in SpOps is yelling at Thorne and getting yelled at by Palmer.
-
Edited by YetAnotherPotato: 2/26/2014 2:39:36 PMwait so they killed off Majestic's leader already?
-
Indeed.
-
Yup. Death by Banshee fuel rods.
-
Lol. Noticed a discrepancy though that's bothering me. Scruggs said that they were told the attack on New Phoenix was from the Covenant. Yet an ONI official said on the news (we see this on Thorne's pad in Episode 1) that the attack was not carried out by the Covenant forces.
-
Haha, oh yeah! (I swear that it said John Smith on the pad at first, but the second letter of his surname is a 'u' upon closer inspection.) I guess it's possible that the story was changed, after all there was just recently a Sangheili attempting to detonate the HAVOK nuke in Rio so they might've used that as a means to subsequently scapegoat the Covenant for New Phoenix.
-
Maybe. I asked Schlerf about it. I'll send a tweet to Waypoint in a bit.
-
He tends to respond to messages sent to him, so hopefully we'll get an explanation. It's an incredibly minor inconsistency if it turns out to just be a continuity error.
