I don't see why the Titan can't function at long range either. We've only seen one of it's at least 2 focuses. And we don't even know if characters are limited to 2 yet.

Why would you need all that armor for sniping?

it seems that the main two questions to ask for choosing your class is how you want other players to see you (a heavily armored soldier, a wild west gunslinger or a robed scholar) and what tactic you wish to employ (in your face brutality, ranged tactics or long ranged buffing/debuffing). however, we all already know that there are going to be TONS of focuses to choose from so the ability to mix and match tactics and skills, therefore the class argument seems to be all but obsolete since every class can do pretty much everything.

Says the guy with a picture of a fully armoured Spartan hiding in a bush with a Sniper as his display? How about counter-sniping and flexibility? If the enemy gets too close, you can defend yourself. If you're trying to take out another Sniper, you can take more rounds than he can.

Edited by Sneake1: 2/25/2014 7:38:34 AMHaha I didn't realize that but i don't really have a choice. There isn't 3 classes to choose from in halo. Also those reasons are good and I thought about them but it just seems like speed and stealth would be more useful in sniping than armor. They probably will allow Titan sniper classes though.

Well, technically you can use any weapon no matter what class you are anyway. So it's all about personal preference. It's just a matter of which abilities you want to take. Keeping your distance doesn't necessarily mean Sniping either though. It could also mean you're simply a Rifleman.

Yeah, Titan Sniper sounds really appealing for some reason....but I still like Hunter Cloaks better. Feels like a Clint Eastwood poncho.
