I would like to know why you guys are choosing the xbox1 over ps4. We all know that when destiny comes out it will be better for the ps4.

With the game not out for nearly six months, how exactly do we know that?

Dude, you don't even know if Destiny is going to be a game... The community will be a huge part of Destiny's success. If you're into a very mute community than it'll be much more desirable to play on the Playstation. If you like to actually talk and interact with players Destiny will be better on the Xbox. Either way, it seems to be a game where communication can enhance the gameplay.

What do you base this off of?
-
Other games that contain the same assets..... If you're talking about Destiny in general. If you're talking about the communities it's obvious that more people use mics on Xbox than on Playstation. Anyone that plays both can tell you that. If you're talking about the fact that Destiny has potential to be a bad game, I don't need to base that off of anything. their is always a chance a game will be bad. Next time you ask a question, please either highlight what you want me to answer or just be less vague.

For the 360/PS3 you're right since the PS3 never came with a free mic. PS4's all come with mics so not an issue for that version. PS3 version? Yeah fair enough.

I've yet to hear a single person trying to communicate through the chat on BF4(which is 5 man squads that you can communicate with) on the PS4. I constantly get users that chat on the XB1 version of the game. It's like the Playstation users are mic shy. Note: I own an XB1 and my buddy owns a PS4. I've only played about 20 games on the PS4 opposed to around 60+ on the XB1. I still think 20 games is enough sampling to realize that nobody wanted to communicate. Literally not a single person... I'm sure if I owned a PS4 and actually added real friends I'd be able to talk, but playing as a random as I usually do, I'd be screwed.

This is still a flawed argument. Besides being anecdotal you're saying Xbox users and distinct from Playstation users. This isn't so. Many 360 users have gone on to buy PS4's. So does playing Xbox somehow make people talk more? Like I said there would be an explanation in regards to the PS3 (no mic) but not PS4. I've heard people talking through their mic playing Killzone so what does that mean? Point is you can expect to be hearing people on both consoles.
If you're talking about the communities it's obvious that more people use mics on Xbox than on Playstation. Anyone that plays both can tell you that.
People used to use mics on Xbox productively. Now, the only words ever spoken are that of a kid making claims about someone else's mother. The same goes for the PS4. I'm guessing that you have more friends on Xbox than on PlayStation so it seems like Xbox users communicate more. The experience won't be very good on either network unless people begin to communicate better.

I go into games random(at least 90 percent of the time). When playing co-op style modes, people on Xbox tend to usually have normal conversations and talk about the missions going on in the game. It's a completely different story than people on mp telling me about how I'm a terrible fag and have a whore mom. I've played several co-op style experiences on the playstation and nobody talked in any of them.

I think there's a serious lack of communication on both Xbox and PlayStation. I've never gotten much communicate out of Xbox players other than some insults and I've been on Xbox for years, but I do know that PlayStation players talk sometimes. When I was playing Warframe on my brother's PS4 a few days ago, there were a few people with mics here and there, but nobody ever spoke back. That's where I think communication is lacking. Many people don't want to be the first to attempt to start a conversation because they assume that they'll be ignored anyways.

Yeah nowadays you only here kids saying something offensive, that's why I use private chat
-
I play both, though I don't own a playstation, and very few people use game chat on Xbox besides little kids and retards playing music into the mic. And a pretty much everyone else uses party chat.
