Holy shit... Arby looks absolutely gorgeous! Love his new armour, the new looks works beautifully and the caption gives me hope for the future of the Sangheili:
"The Arbiter. Maybe more than any other figure, a symbol of what the galaxy could one day become."
Dat cloak... dat headdress... dat golden plating... Reminds me a bit of the concept Arbiter Knight armour from Halo Wars mixed with Fal's armour from The Duel.
Schlerf, Y U LEAVE?!

Very nice. I can only imagine how much better Ivan Reis or Clayton Henry would make it look.
-
Damn that doesn't look half bad!
-
Cool, now kill off Chief and make the Arbiter the main character.
-
I'd rather have a dual-campaign again, have Thel uniting the galaxy while John uncovers the impending return of the Precursors on his journey back to the Ark.
-
Is that an Ascetic Elite on the right? Anyway Arbiters new look is nice, but I kind of find it funny how they still had to slip in the whole "no arm armor" on him that 343 is so fond of. Oh well, it's only on one arm, I think it works with the rest of his new look.
-
Lol, I hate that. It was even worse in Gears 3
-
It's more ceremonial in nature, as opposed to being practical combat armour - this is a peace summit he's attending after all.
-
I don't like how they redesigned him. His helmet is too different.
-
You know that this is new armour, not a redesign, right?
-
Wait, where did it say that?
-
Oh really? In that case I'm more accepting of it, just as long as Thel himself looks the same.
-
His skin appears to be a little bit lighter than usual (this, of course, can be chalked down to how comic art tends to take some artistic liberties in minor regards), but his eye colour is spot-on and his characterisation in the comic is just as badass as he is in the games.
-
Also, despite his skin being lighter, he has no scaly skin! =D Genetics FTW
-
He has the little disgusting nubs all over his skin like the new redesigned Halo 4 Elites do. Actually, I just looked again. He only has it in one picture. I really hope he has the same old skin from the original Halo games.
-
Yes, and they are few and far between unlike the Hesduros Elites which are covered in them.
-
Are there any more pictures?
-
Yes. I added more to the OP.
-
MOAR PICTURES PLEASE!!! I like
-
Sorry, don't want to post more in fear of being banned for posting scans. You can buy the comic digitally for $3.99 at Darkhorse's website and Mobile App.

Dude. Haven't finished but the Arbiter's being such a badass... Holy crap.
-
So it's safe to say that 343 as a whole don't want to continue Traviss' horrific portrayal of him as some helpless wretch stuck in his Keep all day. He's being the Commander Shepard of the Halo universe he's actually actively doing shit.
-
Yes. And then Palmer... I actually liked her! Reed can not continue to write her character.
-
This has easily been the best Halo comic since Blood Line back in 2010, just under a month to wait for the next issue... :P
-
This is incredible. Way to go for Schlerf ending his Halo career with a bang. This is some of his best work. What's really sad is that Reed's original profession was writing comics. From what I've seen, he just is not good.
