Well I'm Godzilla
I'm a guy

Most of the time
English
-
Godzilla is suppose to be gender neutral
-
No, I'm not.
-
He's neuter is Japanese, but there's no neuter form in English. So that's why the movies, when they're dubbed or originally English, it has a sex.
-
That's what I'm saying, I'm not really explicitly described in Japanese, but in English I am, and that's pretty much the consensus over at the TOHO Kingdom (Unless you count those people who said that I was actually female in '54...). But what exactly do you mean by there being "no neuter form" in English? There are most certainly gender neutral pronouns in English...
-
In other languages there can be three gender forms of a word, masculine, feminine, and neuter. In English there are words that can't be neuter. Are there neutral replacements yes, but they aren't the same word. I could be wrong, I'm a English major at my college or anything. That's what I've always believed to have heard.
-
"It." "The monster." "The thing." "Godzilla." There are several neutral replacements. And Gojira is a neutral word in itself...
-
Godzilla!!!! *corny English dubbed voice*
