The gender gap is a false myth, but not for the reasons you mentioned.
Feminists bitching about the gender gap simply don't take into account education, experience, amount of work done, and performance. Why should a woman lifting 30 pounds of whatever in a box be payed the same as a man lifting 50 pounds of whatever in a box? Especially if an entire day he carries 50 boxes and she only carries 35? I can assure you I'll be paying the woman the same amount when I start seeing the same amount of work and quality done. Feminists don't ever bring up performance, or amount of work done ever.

What if a male teen intern is hired and can only lift like, 26?

Then they don't get paid for carrying 50 boxes... That's a pretty obvious answer really.

Despite reductions in the pay gap between male and female workers since the 1950s, gender differentials persist in ALL industrialised nations. Differences in the gender gap are effected by two process: gender specific factors (including differences in qualifications [i.e labor-market discrimination] and treatment of equally qualified women).... Besides, I have a sociology essay to write that's not on gender inequality.
