The Dark Knight. BB just felt strange. Liam Neeson was good as always but him being the villain was strange and the lack of closure for Scarecrow pissed me off. They only closed it up in the beginning of the Dark Knight(which left me feeling cheated) and gave him a cameo in TDKR. Bane was a great villain but he death was sh*t. So was Talia's. Although the showdown in the streets was pretty badass. But TDK could''ve been the ending and it would've been better for it. TDKR was good but had problems that kept it from being great. Bane and Talia's deaths, the pacing problems, Bruce going through the same character arc twice(not to mention the plothole with that robotic leg of his), and the forced romance between Bruce and Selina at the end. TDK had Joker, who was simultaneously funny and terrifying, and Two Face and their stories worked. How they got rid of the Joker sucked though. Overall though the trilogy does a sh*tty job with character send offs and deaths. They're good movies but have too many problems and plotholes that keep them from being truly great in my eyes.

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed by Bane's death, too. He deserved so much more... Same goes for Talia. The Joker situation didn't really have a good way to handle it, I think. I mean, the only way to properly send off the character would involve him returning as the main villain for the third movie, but that just wasn't possible. Nothing Christopher Nolan could have done about it, really.

  • BB did feel strange, but it's still a great movie. Probably the best origin movie for a superhero, besides "Man of Steel". Again, The Dark Knight is my favourite movie. Ever. But it's only that because the story was excellent. The action was awesome at best (which sounds like I'm praising it, which I am, but I'm trying to make TDKR sound better.) I think for TDKR they should've kept Bane as Rhas's son. That was badass. Talia was unneeded (but would've been awesome if she survived and left an opening for Damian in future movies) and it was a weird romance between Bane and her. And my last touch will be on Heath Ledger. He died several months prior to release of the movie. TDKR felt like it was meant for Joker to be in it, honestly.
