Yes, don't get GTA, bought it last year and it has 3 layers of DRM, couldn't ever play it.

If it doesn't automatically activate, it's a pain in the ass to get the game activated.

Edited by ROFL Wolf1254: 7/21/2013 7:21:36 PMCould you elaborate? The price just went down to 4.99 so that's why I'm in a hurry haha
-
It's really not worth the hassle. Plenty of other games to spend the 5 bucks on. Plus, GTA 5 is about to come out, don't bother with 4.

A lot of verification to play the damn thing. In a year and many tries I was unsuccessful in playing it. You gotta verify through Steam, then a Rockstar account, then Live for Windows, and Live For Windows never worked for me so I couldn't play. It's a huge hassle just so people don't pirate the game, expect people that pirate the game can just double click the icon and get into the game -.-
-
Wow that really does sound like a big hassle just to play -__- I think I might be able to manage though, is Live for Windows the same as the hot mail account I'm using for Xbox Live or is it something completely different I have to set up?
-
No. Gotta do a new account, it makes it a huge deal honestly. The verification never works when I try to play. It says Live for Windows is down and keeps me in an infinite loop of trying to sign into something that doesnt work. If you wannt spend the 5 bucks to try it, all the power to ya.
-
Wait do you mean you can't even sign in to the program?
-
Nope, it wouldn't let me. Kept saying something about it not being available or down and it never let me play the game.
-
I'll go try it now before I get the card see if it works or not
-
Windows live and xbox live are the same thing. You sign in using your xbox live account if you have one.

Didn't work for me. Had to make a new one, and even then the service didn't work
