I can't help but think there is a fourth class hidden somewhere.
But if there are three at release then I will go for the warlock, I really like the armor on the hunters and the playstyle,
but a friend who I'm going to play with wants to play a hunter as well, so the more strategic choice would be the warlock. I was worried about that at first but when Bungie showed the gameplay trailer I was relieved that the warlock had some range and scopes as well. So my personal preference is going to the warlock at the moment, but I won't make a definitive decision until I know more about the final game.

All classes can use all guns so range won't be a problem for anyone - can easily envision various Titan players running say a Pulse Rifle with closer range Special and Heavy weapons. I'm going to start with a Warlock but will experiment, especially since it sounds like changing class is relatively easy.

The Holy Trinity will never be broken.

I think there's something called a "Vanguard" but not sure if it's a class.

I'm fairly certain Vanguard will be something along the lines of Recon in Halo 3. Something a few people have/are, especially bungie+.

i hear ya, luckily i have two friends im gonna play with who want the classes and species i don't, but together we'd make and Awoken hunter, Human titan and Exo warlock, so i guess i just got dealt the right cards
