So after I posted a question thread about the Destiny books I saw some deep divisions in the preferences of some of our readers, even some saying they don't like videogame books! (I know, right?)
So I've decided to make a thread where you say who would be your ideal Destiny author!
I'd be excited to see Patrick Rothfuss as an author, he seems pretty good at medival fantasy, I think such a skill could translate into the world of Destiny quite well.
Whose name do you want to see underneath the title of a Destiny novel? (you can choose more than one)

I don't know who should, but they need to hurry up. I NEED this book!
-
Whoever saviorsblood is. The sachal collection is amazing
-
George R. R. Martin

1 ReplyMathew Reily, why need a storyline when you can have action?
-
Robert A Heinlein He kinda deceased tho
-
1 ReplyJ.K. Rowling
-
Christopher paolini. After the inheritance saga I need mooooar. Craaave that Destiny book
-
Eric Nylund. He did a great job starting the lore for Halo. It only seems fair we get him to do at least one book for another Bungie game.

Melvin burgess

1 ReplyDan Simmons.
-
one of the star wars eu authors there are a lot of good ones
-
I'd want Michael Crichton to write them. To bad he's dead
-
Peter Watts. Hard sci-fi, great aliens that fit the definition of "alien."(The Darkness and the Traveler.) Humans varied to the point of nearly being aliens themselves. (Awoken vs. Human vs. Exo.) And best of all humanity struggling against it all using our most powerful tool, our ability to think/reason. Blindsight and its even better sequel Echopraxia. (Also the space Vampires are truly frightening like Vampires are supposed to be. Unlike Sparkles of Twilight.)

Whomever writes them, should let bungie/Activision know, THAT THERE IS A STORY!
-
Books would be cool i guess but i probably wouldnt read them. Im the type of guy who likes there story in game
-
I want books, just so I can figure out what the hell I just did in the video game. I would be ok with Eric Nylund
-
50 shaders of Gray?
-
2 RepliesKaren Travis
-
2 RepliesDan Abbnet He writes Warhammer 40,000 he would be perfect
-
9 RepliesJ k Rowling or Suzanne Collins or Stan lee
-
5 RepliesEric nylund, but honestly I think Destiny needs to setup a decent story mode first.
-
1 ReplyJames Luciendo. He wrote several Star Wars books including Darth Pleagius. His ability to shape a darker undertone in a untold but preexisting world like star wars without breaking cannon would make him a top pick.

1 ReplyEdited by Centauratron: 4/3/2015 2:07:32 AMPretty much anyone except Richard Knaak; I read his Warcraft novels and holy hell, they were terrible. A friend of mine wanted to borrow the War of the Ancients trilogy for the lore, but he didn't even finish the first book before he gave up and returned them because of Knaak's writing. I still have nightmares about the raging hardon he seems to have for the character Rhonin Redhair, the red-headed fire mage with the fiery red hair that was as fiery red as red fire.

Edited by redshirt4life: 4/3/2015 1:32:12 AMTimothy zahn or Michael stackpole. If you ever read the star wars novels, these guys were amazing. And since Disney decided to be utter douchebags and scrapped all their work...
