I like how they always ignore that we're partly responsible, and instead give a quick jab and act like it's a poor reason when it obviously happened! Wow! History is written by those that won, and they always make themselves out to be the martyrs.
"The isolated communist regime has said its recent threats against the South and the US were in response to the sanctions and to recent US-South Korean military drills."
That's all we get, and doesn't even make us sound bad!

Implying that NK isn't an evil and destructive totalitarian regime.
-
Implying the United States isn't also. We're not innocent here, I'm not defending North Korea, I'm condemning out criminal acts.
Implying the United States isn't also.
I'm not implying anything. I'm stating it. The United States of America is not an evil and destructive totalitarian regime. There is absolutely no comparison to be made between the government of the USA and North Korea.
-
I'd argue it is.
-
That's fine, but you'd be wrong.
-
How? They constantly bully the world, infringe on our freedoms and have destroyed our monetary system. I think you are wrong.

America doesn't imprison entire families in prison camps for three generations. They don't execute citizens with divisive political opinions or punish them for failing to publicly express their support for the government insistently enough. They don't hold the threat of nuclear war over the rest of the world in order to try and get their way. American citizens are not denied free access to information that they might form their own opinions, unlike the subjects of North Korea's dictator. It doesn't matter what you think, you are demonstrably wrong if you believe that the USA is in any way as atrocious as Kim Jong-un's regime.
-
We have imprisoned entire families, ask the Japanese. They have murdered Americans. They have infringed on North Korea making them threaten to retaliate and defend themselves. They have constantly infringed on our freedoms. You are a complete idiot, I NEVER compared us to North Korea, I said we are far from innocent ourselves.
-
That example, which is over a half century old remember, is irrelevant in this discussion. I've never said the USA is perfect, but they are far from evil, far from destructive, and far from totalitarianism. What North Korea is doing is not them defending themselves. It is them provoking the international community so that they know just how much they can get away with, and the longer they do this without getting an significant pushback, the farther they're going to go.
-
They aren't far from evil, they have done many evil things. They are very destructive, and they are very close to totalitarianism. We have provoked them, and it would be them defending themselves as long as we infringe on them. We have committed war crimes against them.
-
America has committed war crimes against North Korea? You must be joking.
