The video above was simply an inspiration for a new story i'd like to write and possibly share with you.
I wanted to write a story based off an investigative journalist of sorts. Someone young who constantly writes in his journal keeping track of things. Some of his back story is that he is fascinated with Urban Legends, specifically the Rake. He begins to dedicate his time to investigating the Rake, fully believing it. Like I said; he keeps strictly to his journal.
Although this is the first route i've thought of, I don't know how to start it, I only know I want to write it in "diary" form. Any help? Some tips on how to approach this style of writing? I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the story.

Not diary form please. Journal form is much better. "Dear Diary, I found more evidence of the rake" "I found more evidence of the rake" The Rake also resembles the Pale man. The Pale man was an old blind fisherman who was murdered by a gang. He came back from the dead with eyes in his hands so he could see those who killed him, and enact his revenge, by eating those who took his life. The movie Pan's Labyrinth features this figure. What drives such evil? what motivates a Rake?
