The easiest thing, although it isn't as cheap, is just to buy a replacement.
The Keyboard keys [i]can[/i] be removed, but it is tricky to reattach them. Youtube can probably teach you how to do it correctly. Cleaning the surface underneath might be a little tricky too, considering that the surface is a thin circuitboard.
If it were me, I'd just drop the $30 and replace it. It'll take a bit of time to clean it out, and it will never really feel the same. A new keyboard will also feel much nicer. My laptop had a screen replaced on warranty, and they brought in a few miscellaneous parts with it (to my surprise) including the keyboard. You don't realize how much better your keyboard felt when it was new.
