My question today is that after i watched Perception on TNT, there was a boy that was believing that he was hearing the voice of God in his head through seizures, via a Tumor in his Temporal Lobe pressing against other areas of his brain.
So when Daniel started talking to him to disprove what he was hearing, the boy proclaimed that God was responsible for Science crafting and shaping how things came to be. Darwin himself came up, and the boy implied that God was responsible for letting Darwin come up with the Theory of Evolution, and letting Raspberries, as per the conversation, develop into the juicy and tasty fruit that they are. In addition to God being responsible for letting a Tumor grow in the boys head that Daniel himself said, "makes him a vindictive and cruel God, despite what may happen on Earth against his all-powerful will".
Is this how those who believe in Religion think? That God is the scapegoat to all problems and that by believing in him, nothing wrong can come to pass?

r/atheism? I may frequent the internet, but i do not follow those types of things.

Not saying ya do, no worries. It's actually preferable to not follow something like that. It's best to just conceal it's existence, and then when it's time to show it's face to those unknown, show them why it's a bad example of an atheist community. It is, quite literally, a place in which they use memes as arguments.
