Whenever I drop a banner after the first phase for phase 2, I cannot rally my own banner.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Got to wait for the XP to stop adding up, watch the XP bar, when it stops then can rally If someone already mentioned this apologies, didn’t read all the comments

Yep And if other people drop banners, unless I'm up close when they drop, I can't use them

1 ReplyAll everyone has to do is back away from the flag for 5 seconds!…. But try doing that with Timmy no brain ( no offence to any Timmy’s ) who runs ahead and always starts the encounter before they can. The same thing can happen in the raid as well so not related to glimmer in that instance.

No way!? This is still a thing lol. Haven't played Wellspring in a while, nor do have the urge to play it again. I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet.

Dont start the encounter and wait and it will allow you to use the banner. Most players get impatient and shoot the crystals and the banner goes away.

Yeah I have been having the same issue

This is has been an issue since the expansion released. Lol, I’ve just been saving my heavy and super during the first part.

Because the glimmer is still tallying up it messes with the flag. When glimmer stops showing on the right of the screen you will be able to rally.

Edited by iflytii: 3/30/2022 9:10:10 PMIt seems to have something to do with glimmer and how slowly it adds up. If you notice in the upper right, if your glimmer is still "counting up", you can't rally. As soon as glimmer is done counting you seem to be able to rally - but this can take a while and if you aren't playing in a fireteam it's hard to stop randoms from progressing forward and canceling the flag.

Yep. Can’t rally my own banner or someone else’s either.
