Supposedly, Trials of Osiris and Glory: Survival are the competitive game modes in Destiny. Lately, these modes haven't felt very "competitive" due to teams taking advantage of weapons and abilities that seem to be outliers in PvP. I could go on to name many of the PvE-oriented weapons that are simply too effective in PvP, but I'll cut right to the chase.
Ban exotic weapons/armor and aspects/fragments from competitive PvP modes.

1 ReplyDestiny is not competitive

You want the game to be watered down, because you’re not good at PVP… Yeah, that’s not going to happen.

I'm a big fan of equal start shooters. Destiny's not an equal start shooter, and it's just that simple. It's going to always be a pain to balance, the meta might bebe a legendary weapon, a certain armor stat spike, a certain ability, exotic armor piece, but it always will have one.

4 RepliesHow to say you’re bad at PvP without saying you’re bad at PvP.

11 RepliesThis is the worst hot take in the history of worst hot takes.

3 RepliesSo take away everything that makes Destiny…Destiny.

While they suck at balancing PvP, removing exotics would just break PvP. The community would absolutely hate this, with good reason. Banning abilities or Exotics is trying to turn Destiny into something it’s not. Exotics have been a staple since Destiny 1 beta. This isn’t Call of Duty or Battlefield.

2 RepliesAbilities are part of the game. This isn’t call of duty. If you want pure fun fights go play one of the other million shooters out there that has that. Horrible idea by any metric.

2 RepliesP2P game can't be competitive, simple as that
-
4 RepliesYou mean forcing ACTUAL balance? I’m fine with that, but I have a high suspicion most “competitive” people would not like an actual fair “all starting on the same start line”. Wonder why? 🤔

1 ReplyBan trials from the game Or better ban pvp from the game

6 RepliesJust go play Battlefield or COD.
