Stupid. I didn’t harvest the essence of weapons to forge a blade capable of shattering worlds just for it to have a white border. No matter how much you level a weapon, it still keeps the white border, which shouldn’t be the case. Maybe if you complete memento on the weapon, then it gets a gold border? Seriously, no way to change the border on a crafted weapon really bothers me. A white border on legendary weapons means that it isn’t maxed out yet(hence the term ‘masterworked’), so a fully enhanced, god roll, maxed memento crafted weapon needs some way to actually feel maxed. Also, the infinite weapon levels add to the effect that crafted weapons never feel maxed. No matter what you do to a crafted weapon, it never feels truly perfected, as it should.
I’m not asking for a big change; only one thing. Different colored borders on maxed crafted weapons. I don’t care if it’s gold like other weapons or diamond or anything, as long as it’s different than a plain white. Once you achieve perfection on a crafted weapon, it needs a border to convey perfection.
Honestly, I only want border consistency. It just looks ugly to have golden borders on everything EXCEPT the best possible thing I can use.
Crafted weapons just don’t feel completed or perfected, even after reaching that point. I understand if bungie wants crafted weapons to feel fluid and changeable, but come on.
This change can’t physically cause anything negative, so please, please bungie. If you guys feel the same way, spread this around and it might come true if enough people repost or whatever.
