Are there any good methods to try and get the mission control medalnfrok crucible? There were times when I definitely thought I should've gotten it but it just didn't come up

Just practice sniping. Big maps with long lanes (like midtown or Vostok for example) are great. If I can get a few every so often and I’m terrible with snipers than you can too

Just takes some practice and a little luck. Don't use Momentum Control, whoever suggests that has no clue what they are talking about in my opinion. You need 2 headshots kills, at range, without reloading. There's 0 point to using Momentum Control to do this, and will cause you more pain trying to get it done there with people melting you with everything under the sun there. It's not like you need forgiveness on headshots with a sniper, it's a kill regardless so MC isn't a help.

Edited by gastroprobz: 3/28/2022 6:56:15 PMI finally got one last season. Get a sniper with a high zoom scope. You want to make sure you’re at a long distance because if not it will not count. I used Occluded Finality. You don’t need to do it within a time frame so all you need to do is get that first headshot and hang out until you have another opportunity. I would recommend leaving maps until you find one with long sight lines like Vostok, Fortress, or Eternity. Worm haven. Something with a long distance to be 100%. Good luck!

it takes alot of patience and if you suck at sniping i suggest practicing with revoker

Edited by Knightlight: 3/28/2022 7:43:55 AMI wouldn't recommend momentum control. You die way to quickly and the medal requires 2 headshots so you can't use bodyshot damage. Do you have the revoker sniper rifle? You can get it from the monuments to lost lights. The sniper refunds ammo directly back to the sniper from thin air. If you miss then don't worry you won't need to reload. Also for the heavy weapon slot I'd recommend the Darci sniper rifle. Thing has a stupid amount of Aim Assist and you can get headshots pretty easily.

If you wait until Tuesday’s weekly reset, we’ll have momentum control again so that would be a good chance to get it

I got mine by staying toward the back of the Midtown map. It took a lot of patience. -
No clue. I have two of them but I don't know if I got them or my kid.

I’m one of the few people in destiny that get that medal a ton. Currently 500+, since I main snipers in pvp. I’m terrible with shotguns.

Edited by Emurinus: 3/27/2022 11:35:12 PMI got mine on Convergence by sniping people down the lane near the waterfall. If heavy is up behind the fall then it encourages people to rush it, making for some good double kills if you time it right. Also, I should note that this doesn't work in Iron Banner due to the different medals.

I got mine in momentum crash, it was a pain but when I loaded into I think it was Distant shore when everyone lines up in the sniper lane one shot killing two people becomes a lot easier
-
I dont use snipers or loke them too much. So I ended up using darci and loving that which got me the medal.

I think I got mine loooooong ago on an extremely lucky double headshot. Not sure if getting collateral kills with Cloudstrike could work, otherwise your only hope is just hoping for two really rapid headshots.
