How would you feel about designing Bungie Approved Crucible Maps using In-Game Resources and Setpieces?

A forge mode would be awesome

It worked for Halo. Even with the limited tools people had in the beginning, the community came up with awesome maps and other creations (grifball, etc.) which eventually got into map rotation. At least in a designated playlist.

2 RepliesI think Forge was a great addition to Halo. That said, once Forge maps entered the matchmaking playlists, they became basically the only maps that'd ever turn up.

2 RepliesPersonally, I would like a map akin to the prophecy cube, minus the gravity switching. Having a map that constantly switches its corridors, lanes and forces players to change their style of engagement on the fly would be a nice touch.

Creative? Yes. Would it be used? I'm sure it would. But I advise to look up these words: "Stage builder was a mistake" Yes it's a different platform, but it doesn't take away from the point as a potential "what if?" Folks can get "creative" so to speak, and the only thing that would need work from Bungie is regulating the created maps in some way. Whether or not they can do that would depend on if this idea gets considered, in my opinion. Still sounds like a nice idea, though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Desire SensorTrying to get Age Old Bond. - old
Dislikes coming in Ohhhhh boy -
7 RepliesIt could be cool. But I remember back in Halo when they had a map editor and people started thinking they were super geniuses for making maps and they needed to be the ones running everything.

6 RepliesYou know what; I won’t mind this. Maybe even a Strike creator if possible? With maybe a couple powerfuls or pinnacles attached to doing the community strikes/Crucible matches?
