What do you guys think are the most toxic (annoying, cheesy, overpowered) weapons for PvP/Gambit?
EDIT: If no gun is annoying to fight against, what in your opinion is the most powerful/broken weapon?

1 ReplyToxic to me is when you are playing in a fireteam with someone doing cooperative activities and when you happen to die, rather than reviving you, your prepubescent brace faced pimply "teammate" thinks it's cool to "tea-bag" your ghost instead of reviving. Alternatively, can replace "tea-bagging" with performing obnoxious emotes such as "sad trombone" as opposed to being a human being.

Weapons aren't toxic, but their users certainly can be. Dude could clean house with a blue shotgun and teabag.

3 RepliesI think what's really toxic is all the people complaining about what others use to kill them in a video game.
-
I remember when toxic meant something
-
The last word and Lorentz I find the most toxic. If Lorentz didn’t one shot body I would be cool with.
-
well probably thorn and osteo id imagine
-
I would say Le Monarque, it's not because it is a bow, it because you need to wait for a very long time to restore your hp after getting hit by it

Edited by NYDIBS: 3/24/2022 12:49:37 AMAnnoying: Le Monarque OP: Main Ingredient Lorentz I wouldn’t even mind if it didn’t one shot bodyshot 140s are just too easy to spam, not OP

Hunters

What do you guys think are the most powerful weapons in PvP/Gambit? Fixed it for you. Just because a weapon is OP doesn’t mean it’s “toxic”. Use whatever is available in the game. Let Bungie sort it out.
-
Neither.

I'm a particularly poor PVP player so I die to pretty much anything pointed in my direction, but for some irrational reason The Last Word triggers the salt in me every time lol

1 ReplyBased on my past observations on this forum, "toxic weapons" pretty much translates into "anything that kills me in PvP." Personally, I would select "None of the Above" if it were an option on the poll.

4 RepliesNone. Play to win using the best tool that does the job that’s available for your play style. You’re not in there to make friends with the other team, you’re competing to win before they do. Use the best weapons for the job. Why purposely handicap yourself over this imaginary concept of toxic weapons. It’s an idea created as an excuse on why people lose. If you want to purposely handicap yourself, that’s fine. Not the other teams fault for using what works best for them to win.
