The quest is over and theres nothing new. Feels like it ended really early, twice as quickly as normal. Is that really just it?

It would be both odd & disappointing if it is. Hopefully there's something else planned this season that carries over.

5 RepliesIf it is, that's pretty pathetic for a seasonal story.

Saladin is a cabal now and you went to a pyramid to fight some guy who isn’t really explained why he’s in there with his minions and he’s supposed to be powerful. Somehow? Traveler space magic?. It’s Just sort of tacked on to the story at the end there because bungie promised us a raid. That’s all folks. Be sure to front another $100 for quality content!

There were new developments, which were perfectly delivered by my new favorite npc.

The first season for an expansion should be a hefty season but it's Bungie. They really focus on the campaign and the raid and whatever feature they trying to shove down our throats

Pretty sure by having the shorter quest it allows them to give another short quest towards end of the season to tie into the next.

You know that last city mission we got in season of the splicer, after the story ended? Yeah, we will probably get that again.

7 RepliesThe seasons that launched with a major expansion have never really been on par with the others, as the major expansion usually takes the spotlight. Season of the Undying (Shadowkeep) saw us fighting the Undying mind over and over, with a finale that was disappointing to say the least. Season of the Hunt (Beyond Light) did better story-wise, as it introduced Crow, and was the start of Savathun’s impersonation of Osiris. It’s finale was also nothing impressive, but at least the seasonal story that followed was good ! Season of the Risen (Witch Queen) is the continuation of the overall story, and in my opinion the best of those three seasons. True, the Elbrus quest ended quickly, and I hope we get more story through Vox Obscura maybe. However, I am excited for what could come next, especially if Bungie delivers the same quality like what we had with Chosen / Splicer / Lost. A safe bet would be a Rasputin season and a Calus season, but we’ll see !
