Hi there! There is currently a service alert for PSN, reporting multiple issues on their networks, including not being able to connect to the Playstation Network. For more information, please review the PSN Service Status page. https://status.playstation.com

I mean I know Bungie got bought by Sony, but did you really just come to the Bungie forums to report a problem on Sony’s online network? Sure,I guess Bungie can send Sony and email, letting them know.

1 ReplyI've been on the Bungie forums and one user has reported that this will fix the login problems. Have tried it myself and I'm able to log back into Destiny. Crazy that Playstation has said nothing about this. PS5 Users: Settings - User & Accounts - Other - Restore Licenses = FIX.

HA! Should have bought an Xbox. Nah I'm just playin. I would really like to get my hands on a PS5 as well mainly for Gran Turismo and Horizon Zero Dawn. I heard that GT7 has been butchered with the low credits awarded for completing races along with the microtransactions. I know companies want to make money but that is pathetic. Think I'm going to wait for the mid gen upgrade but still going to have to deal with the stupid scalpers and their purchase bots. What a joke. I have had a PS since the first one came out mainly for GT, all the way up to the PS4. Then I tried the Xbox One X while eventually upgrading to the Series X. I will always be a PS fan but I do love my Series X. They're all unique in their own way. I love them both. Take care!

-
2 Repliesi just love how every week there’s something this game does that keeps me from playing it
-
Must be a big problem by sony this time. It's still down. Let's hope sony gives us a free game or something like when they got hacked back in the day.
-
Having the same issue where it won't connect to Playstation network, tried everything and still doesn't work
-
1 ReplySamies. - before was a "CAT" error issue. I don't even get a CAT with my error. PS5, can't login after system update and Destiny update didn't fix either.

6 RepliesEdited by natural_viagra: 3/23/2022 12:35:24 PMI'm having trouble with battlefield also connecting to PSN, now. I don't think this is a Destiny issue, but a PSN issue ... and the network check showing PSN OK is a false positive. UPDATE: this is now clearly a PSN outage, even if SONY isn't publicly acknowledging it. This is not a Bungie issue. https://downdetector.com/status/playstation-network/map/

2 RepliesThanks for the heads up i won’t update then 😅🔥💯🙏

Another day of not being able to access the content I'm paying money for. Awesome. So I'm guessing we'll all get given an extra day this Destiny Season then, right? Because as we know large multi billion dollar companies always care about the people.

Edited by PewYou44: 3/23/2022 2:15:19 PMI also got a blue light of death😡, lucky I was able to update it with safe mode and it solved the issue
-
According to the help forums PlayStation is aware and is working on it.
-
I'm having the same issue. -blam!- my system tried to act like it crashed initially upon start up, opened in safe mode and tried to tell me I had to install the ps4 system update via USB download after it opened in safe mode and then changed its mind and downloaded anyway on the system and acted completely normal till I tried to open destiny and now it won't let me in psn is major bugged right now.
-
4 RepliesSame here. As soon as I updated it on my PS5 I couldn’t log in stating it can’t access the network Other games that use the network I have no issue with On the help forum looks like lots of people are having the same issue worldwide Australia here btw
-
I'm on ps4 , having exact issue

9 RepliesJust an fyi guys this is not a bungie problem it is a playstaion problem. The new update has screwed up online services across the board. It seems that whatever this update did was mess up the ps plus verification for online play. For once its not bungles fault.
-
Edited by Shirtless_Captain_Kirk: 3/23/2022 1:46:00 PMI got up this morning to play WITHOUT installing the update and could not get in with the PSN is fubar message. Applied update, same thing.
-
I figure when they pushed out the update an infinite number of cats sat on an infinite number of keyboards and spelled out all the memes of past present and future and psn just couldn't take it. That or Russia is hacking sony in which case don't they have a war to loose or something?
-
PSN is suffering from network schizophrenia. This is a problem that really Bungie /should/ have figured out a work around for but have not so we get to just live without destiny until they get their stuff together...
-
on the bright side official PSN status now shows errors... which means they are trying to fix it, finally. as of 8:30am EST
