Cross Save and how much $ did I lose?

Disabled cross save by accident looking for a way to change my in-game name. I was told I'd get a free name change, but not actually given a free name change since my in game name is STILL my PSN name (complaint #1) 90 day lockout, convenient enough to miss out on a whole season battle pass (complaint #2) Used my linked guardians from my PSN to play on Steam. But I've purchased all my expansions on steam, will I still have access to them knowing I have to make a brand new Guardian for a basically brand new account? (Complaint #3) Why does it feel like this game is still overloaded with problems no one asked for? (complaint #4) Seriously, 90 days? That's the security measure to keep someone's Guardian safe from hackers or something? I think it's such a good safety measure that it keeps players from hacking into their own account to use their Guardian. 90 days? You think someone's gonna come back after that LMAO

 • Hey,
Disabled cross save by accident looking for a way to change my in-game name. I was told I'd get a free name change, but not actually given a free name change since my in game name is STILL my PSN name (complaint #1)
Disabling Cross Save wont change your name as you have a Bungie name (determined by the platform you logged in with when Cross Play went live) for all your platforms, there is a known bug currently that is prevent people from changing their name whatsoever so keep an eye on the TWAB and Bungie Help Twitter for updates on the issue.
90 day lockout, convenient enough to miss out on a whole season battle pass (complaint)
This is policy and is put in place to discourage players from disabling Cross Save as it is meant to be a one time action, Unfortunately there is no bypassing it and Bungie cannot make any exceptions, for more information on Cross Save have a look at the Destiny 2 Cross Save Guide.
Used my linked guardians from my PSN to play on Steam. (Complaint #3)
Yes you will still have access to the DLC on your Steam regardless of making a new character as the expansion itself is bound to the platform however the Season pass is linked to your character so if you where using your PSN characters then disabled Cross Save the Season pass went with your PSN characters therefore you will need to purchased the Season Pass again on Steam. The Destiny 2 Cross Save Guide will go into more detail about this.
Seriously, 90 days? I think it's such a good safety measure that it keeps players from hacking into their own account to use their Guardian.
As stated above it is there to discourage players from disabling Cross Save as there have been many cases in the past or people abusing the system for fraudulent purposes hence why it can seem a little harsh.
