Bungie should remove exotics from being solo lost sector drops because some people (me being one of those people) don't have the time to grind there arses off because we have a lot of other games we play on and we don't want it to feel like Destiny 2 has become a job or a chore , unless you are destiny 2 try hard (those people know who they are), so please remove the exotic from solo legend and master lost sector drops and either put them free roam drops or at least make it to where it will drop when you go to into a legend or master lost sector with a group, because In my opinion it was a an -blam!- of a move locking certain exotics behind solo legend and master lost sector drops, and I created this poll to see who agrees with me who disagrees with me and who don't care either way

I liked the focused hunt of them so it wasn't pure RNG world drop, but lately I think they have messed something up with their math like usual. I have run 16 of them trying to get arms for my warlock and still no drop. I haven't even bothered with alts if this is the new norm. Either ramp up the drop rate on each completion till you get one or check your -blam!- again bungo.

D2 will always be a job/chore unfortunately.

2 RepliesEdited by Sweet Lew 88: 3/17/2022 9:45:26 PMIt usually only takes 1-3 clears to get the new exotic. Not much grinding in my opinion. Maybe you can watch a guide so you can clear them faster? Might not be so tiring.... Maybe stay away from games with RNG if you have crap luck and are sensitive to not getting what you want?

Edited by Guardian3564: 3/17/2022 9:36:29 PM1500 hours in this game and you can't spend some time farming lost sectors. Sounds like another "make the game easier for me!" post. You have time to grind, you just don't want to grind. In a game. That revolves around grinding and RNG.

3 Repliesyou do realize that the VAST majority of endgame content, whether exotic or legendary gear etc... is behind a wall that you must have a group to get through? it is super ironic that a group player is now complaining that there is something that solo players can get that group players cannot through group play, even though they get pretty much have the entire endgame loot pool catered to them.

Hate to say it but destiny isn’t a game for people who can’t grind as intended. It’s a loot shooter fam, why should the mechanic be changed because YOU don’t have time? That comes off selfish and entitled or ofc you are frustrated but.. yea this kind of game you have to put time in. Smh, other people who don’t have the time or skill for activities just pay for it these days lol

If someone buys destiny and they don’t like grind than that’s on them. Core mechanic of the game. Also once your close to the light level lost sectors are a quick farm. I personally like this way. Makes target farming a lot easier than just waiting for exotic drops that can be anything.

Clearly you do not understand that destiny in it's most basic form is about 2 things. Grinding and rng. Clearly neither one are your thing, and if you don't have the time to grind, then you should play another game that does not require grinding. I know I do when my time is short. The game is not going to change just because you don't like it. You don't see a basketball game changing because you cannot make a basket.

2 RepliesSo what reward is there in doing the Legend lost sectors solo? It just adds to the pile of activities there’s no real point in doing, because there’s no incentive. And doing a lost sector on Legend solo is not something only a Destiny try hard can do. The power requirement is pretty low. It mostly just needs you to have the right weapons and mods. And some lost sectors are easier and shorter than others. So sometimes just wait for the armor type you want to be on rotation for one of those lost sectors. Then go ham on it for that day, and ignore them every other day. That’s what I usually do.
