Enhanced Genesis' perk description reads as:
"Breaking a combatant's shield with this weapon fills its magazine from reserves, with Kinetic weapons overflowing. Energy weapons regenerate ammo on hit when matching the damage type to the combatant's shield."
But this seems to be demonstrably false and also currently impossible. The enhanced perk seeming also has ZERO added benefit on special or heavy weapons. Allow me to explain whats going on; the perk DOES work on my "Come to Pass", an ARC auto rifle. Every time you break a shield (of any type) it generates about 10 ammo and will overflow the mag above normal capacity.
However this added enhanced effect does not happen on my "Recurrent Impact" (Stasis LMG). It simply acts like normal Genesis and "fills its magazine from reserves."
Same exact effect when using Enhanced Genessis on the solar grenade launcher "Explosive Personality", no overflowing of the magazing, it simply fills it from reserves. No percievable stat bonuses when compared to normal genesis or anything.
So whats going on?
I think someone at Bungie wrote "kinetic" when it was supposed to be PRIMARY and then the perk also ended up being craftable on guns that would recieve zero benefit (by not being primary weapons.)

Video for proof and so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. Notice default magazine sizes and how ammo changes/refills. Clown music added to commemorate all my wasted materials and time.

Stasis came out later, so who knows if there's something wrong with the combination. There might be more testing for you to do. (EDIT: I misread.)
