Like many others, I have chosen to play Destiny 2 via the PC Xbox app, purchasing the 30th Anniversary Pack and Digital Deluxe Witch Queen from the Windows Store. Beginning March 10th, the game became unplayable, leaving myself and others without a way to enjoy the content we purchased.
This issue has been reported, and appears to be an issue regarding Gaming Services compatibility. However, Bungie nor Microsoft are sharing any plans on resolving the issue. Xbox system status makes no mention of the issue. Bungie Help shows no action taken other than requesting info from forum users.
At this point, I would just like my $100 back so I can purchase the Witch Queen and Anniversary bundle via Steam and get back to enjoying the game I've poured over 1000 hours into.

14 RepliesHello. Any refund request needs to go through the platform store of where you purchased it and is subject to their refund policies -- in this case it sounds like the Windows online store.

Same exact problem, it's the latest update with gaming services that's causing it. Here's a fix https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/260754986?sort=0&page=0&path=1

PVP SUXMATCHMAKING IN DUNGEONS ASAP! - old
I think that is impossible, but maybe if you are lucky you get five Ascendant shards that you can use at the "monument of lost lights" Like they did to those that bought into the Legendary edition and decided to vault Forsaken! Or you will get a tonne of bright dust! Don't get your hopes up though unless you go via Xbox and Microsoft, they are the pinnacle regarding refunds, never ever had and issue, same goes for Apple. All the others suck bigtime! -
6 Replieswhat does it mean to play via the PC Xbox app? Is that playing PC or Xbox? Never heard of this?
