I recently got back in Destiny 2 with Witch Queen. I haven't played since before Forsaken but decided to get back into playing. I've been playing my Titan the past couple of weeks and when I got my titan to 1560 I wanted to grind up my other characters. I had a decent amount of weapons, armor, ships, and ghosts on my Warlock before going into the new expansion, but when logging into my Warlock it started me at the very beginning of the game like it was a new character instead of starting me off in the Witch Queen Campaign like it did for my Titan. By putting me at the very beginning everything on my Warlock was wiped. Was this supposed to happen? Why was one character starting off at the new campaign and a different character starting as if its a new character?

1 ReplyYour Warlock had not previously been used to play Destiny 2, prior to your recent session. Your Hunter has some hours from back in 2017, and your Titan is the character that has seen the most hours played. You can view the game history for each character, from within your Bungie profile. As your Warlock had not been played previously, it is correct that they would be starting in the intro mission, and needing to complete the Guardian Rises quest. Since your Hunter played the original campaign back in 2017, as did your Titan, they can go straight to the other campaigns and modes. Any game time that you are thinking of for your Warlock, would be from the original Destiny. Though your Warlock was also your least played character in the first game. https://wastedondestiny.com/4611686018443993175
