I cant do any small adjustment while aiming with default deadzone in Destiny2 . So its year FIVE now ,why cant we have controller deadzone setting ?I know that aim assist in this game is strong ,but what I am thinking is bungie can nerf aim assist but give us deadzone setting .D2 is a popular and great game and there are so many controller player s playing with a controller ,its so confuse that a modern FPS game doesn't have deadzone setting .Here is my advice :give us a advanced setting which we can change our deadzone and when it is ON ,the aim assist will be WEAKER .Please bunige give me an answer even its NO.I just want to know why

6 Repliesi raised my sensitivity to max and it helped me - may not be for everyone, but my stats all around got better. Easier to offset auto-aim on ads too. But, take that with a grain of salt. I'm told I'm crazy for doing that

Edited by Joulevette12: 3/11/2022 9:11:48 PMAim assist needs a Nerf period on controller I die more due to ads or players running across you screen and jerks your reticle due to it I hate having to fight my controller You can literally walk to a seeker, fallen tank and hive crystal and it drags your reticle to it majority of ppl who play this does not need aim assist that strong it's ridiculous

I use controller freks, they make your analog bigger and thus allows for smoother adjustments. Its weird at first but it really makes a massive difference, I cant play without them

2 RepliesWhat kind of controller you use? I don’t think there are default dead zones. If you use a reg controller, plastic sticks wear out. That’s just mechanical failure. Check to see if it’s worn where it contacts the face

Edited by KILLA KARIZMA: 3/11/2022 8:14:54 AMIt's 2022 and this still isn't a thing. When it comes to QoL and basic settings and mechanics to make the game feel better, they just take so long. But my goodness if they find a broken exotic or an exploit that allows us to get more than intended, it gets patched in less than a couple weeks. The recent hotfix proves it. It took years for them to finally give us detailed controller sensitivity settings (ADS, Look sensitivity...etc). I wouldn't be surprised if deadzones are finally a thing come next DLC lol.

3 RepliesEdited by Demon: 3/11/2022 3:03:50 AMI and many others have brought this up but I've never seen an official response from bungie on this. I find it too difficult to control fine aim at high sense. I thought they would of added it with the traction and sense changes but somehow it got missed out. Not sure how nobody at bungie doesnt realise that its needed espacially now that we finally have fast sense. When i set my sense to anything above 10 i start to lose all fine aim. The in game dead zones are huge lol. I never really noticed until i started playing apex legends.

5 RepliesHorizontal/vertical hip/ads sliders, deadzone slider, aim assist toggle/slider, aim assist window slider, acceleration slider. We should have all of this, it’s completely ridiculous that we only recently got the ads/traction sliders and the sensitivity sliders don’t seperate directions. The main thing I want are the aim assist sliders, deadzone and traction going up to 1.0 or at least 0.9. I can live without the rest.

Offset weapons would also be quite welcome.
