Whenever I try to get the suppressing glaive in my artifact now it just refunds the point and won't let me leave it equipped on my glaive.
So I guess this is their way of "patching" it by basically removing it altogether with no replacement...

97 RepliesHi there. The mod has been disabled due to an issue that could affect the world first raid race tomorrow. Players will need to wait for the issue to be fixed before the mod will be active again. https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/1499793374408105990
Due to an issue, the Suppressing Glaive Artifact Mod has been disabled in all activities. Stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.
They removed internet connection as well…..

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 3/6/2022 11:12:55 PMDisabled for the raid babies competition and hunter invis spam apparently
-
It's bungies way of saying hey your having fun well we can't have that now can we so we're just gonna take your stuff away.
-
2 Repliesluckily i knew it wouldnt last longer than the season so i did my build knowing id be losing that aspect at some point so my builds not useless like others... but its still annoying as hell. on the one hand they claim its just for the world first raid event but then on the other hand disable it everywhere... i guess any time something other than shotgun slides can be considered fun or competetive they have to nerf it if the shot gun -blam!- cant get those perfect kd ratios... same thing happened to sunspot and its corosponding new exotic. please if ur gonna nerf something can we pls get rid of the damn shotgun meta bs.

2 RepliesEdited by Haters: 3/5/2022 2:17:54 AMYea. Bungies inferior QA team missed an obvious game breaking interaction between the glaive and artifact mods and instead of doing the job they were paid to do they instead put more work into the in game store. Don’t worry guys. That is running just fine. Now the Bungie bosses have said WE GOTS TO RAID BROZ and the game director had the unfortunate duty to inform them of lol hax interaction between glaive and certain artifact mods. Now in true bungo bingo fashion rather then do the logical thing. The smart thing and certainly not the right thing they have decided to simply axe the mod so the incels and or forever virgins can spend 10 hours bashing their heads against a boss tomorrow. Those lucky few who bash their heads hard enough and beat the boss can then have the privilege to spend $199 on a jacket that has the word Virgin embroidered on the back. That’s the business model. Genius.

1 ReplyIts total tosh mate. The key weapon and mechanism of this season has just been removed. It was working beautifully and players were loving the new builds and first new weapon class in Destiny in years. Maybe we should instead be asking why was the raid so poorly designed that suppressing glaive alone can ruin it.
-
3 RepliesOther items are being disabled just in raid, why disable glaive now for everything? It is almost like Bungie do not test their own game.
-
They are there own fun police
-
11 RepliesThe mod was supposed to be disabled IN the raid, not EVERYWHERE. And yes, Bungie has already stated multiple times that they can selectively disable mods/weapons to work only in certain activities. I

Well I was waiting unlock that before I used the glaive.. guess I’ll be waiting longer. Let’s gooo unstoppable hand cannon lmao
-
On one hand, that's bungaloney for you; don't play test their game, release broken stuff, but punish the player base for using their poorly coded stuff. On the other hand, the glaive needs to be nerfed into the ground; infinite invis spam and infinite melee at the level of power the glaive contains is dumb. It's infuriating playing match made activities with these momos just face rolling the melee button to kill everything in front of them.

11 RepliesAs if ruining the PVE game for PVP isn't bad enough, they won't hesitate to ruin the game for a handful of pros to race to finish a raid they've already seen, gotten tips and pointers on, etc.

So I guess this is their way of "patching" it by basically removing it altogether with no replacement...
It's funny, I was just in a conversation the other day on The forum about how players shouldn't need to check Twitter or other social media for patches and news. Bungie puts out on the twab everything people complain about on The forum and you still have players who don't understand why things don't work. You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. I know it's already been answered by the mentor but my god, read the twabs and you'll be informed. Whether you like it or not, it doesn't concern me. They're going to disable certain items for a whole 24 hours while the raid race is going on. Everybody knows that it's been a pattern. Everyone knows things get disabled during world's first. Everyone acts like it's their first day on Destiny when these things happen. The cycle must end

Edited by fletcher68: 3/5/2022 8:13:08 AMThey either don’t know how to fix it or don’t give a -blam!- so they turn it off we should all just go 40 years back and play pong. At least it worked every time as intended I’m tired of everything in this world released and doesn’t work Internet satellite TV games phones you name it used to have to work for people to sell it along time ago
-
1 ReplyIt figures. This is so disappointing. They might as well nerf the whole expansion
-
-blam!- this game and this company, they cant make it where the mod is only disabled in the raid itself.
-
Don't bother building into it, they're getting lubed up to completely screw it
-
1 ReplyIt’s disabled for the day one raid. They mentioned this in the Twab yesterday.......
-
Couldn’t leave it in for the raid race tomorrow. Things way to strong.
-
And which bug would that be from what I saw it was working as intended

6 RepliesI recently returned to D2 for WQ. My entire build was created around this one mod and I was having fun in Destiny again. Way to go Bungles. Guess I still have Tiny Tina's to look forward to. I'll go and play some Dying Light 2 with my friends until this is either fixed or TT comes out. Then again, maybe I'll just forget about this game.

Edited by Itcus: 3/5/2022 5:30:04 AMI'm honestly amazed this was released the way it was. Wtf do they actually test in this game¿? We just had a double length season giving these clowns ample time to test their game and this kinda crap still happens¿? Add to that the fact that this is a NEW weapon type introduced into the game that one would think would be EXTENSIVELY tested for ANY sign of issues, especially with an upcoming raid on the horizon. I'm at the point with this game now, and gaming in general (don't get me started on other games) where I don't think the people in charge of testing actually know what the hell they are doing. I kind of expect a thing here or there to break or slip through the cracks, but this isn't the only thing that's been disabled. Gotta give credit where credit is due, well done Bungo, well done.
-
Anyone saying this should not have been removed doesn’t know what it was doing. I could run gambit, strikes, nightfalls, missions anything and stay invis the whole time on my hunter. I knew that wasn’t going to last very long.

4 RepliesHonestly it is so ridiculous how is anyone surprised it's disabled? That thing is one of the most overpowered mods we have ever had.
