1) they've been nerf'd so many times, I've lost count 2) Any halfway decent PvP knows it's not the weapon, it's the user 3) If you don't know how to work around those using HC's, maybe it's more on you. To be blunt, if you're tired of being killed by them, it's more productive to learn what to do against them, than to complain about every little thing because Crucible doesn't always go our way.

The only nerfs I can think of that haven't been reverted we're the damage nerfs to 120s and the removal of 150s bar Sunshot. Simply put, using a non-HC primary puts you at a disadvantage. Their range and flinch, combined with their naturally extreme flexibility pushes out pretty much any rifle. Pulses don't have enough of a range advantage to out-range them consistently (and also lose to the burst damage where cover is involved, anyways). ARs lose to them everywhere, and Scouts suck within about 25 meters, so they're not a great option. What are you supposed to really do? The guns are pure upside zero downside. HCs push so many otherwise great weapons out of contention with their mere existence, because some aspect of them serves as a hard or soft counter to them. Sure SMGs kill fast up close, but any HC user worth their salt can easily leverage the huge range advantage. Or exploit the fact that the few SMGs that don't have >20 meters of reach have terrible burst damage. ARs in theory kill faster at similar ranges, but your average HC has a 5 meter advantage, deals enough flinch to make that advantage moot, and can leverage their burst damage to destroy any AR. Pulses? Sure, there's a TTK advantage. But most pulses don't even have 5 meters on most HC rolls, and yet again the extreme flinch incurred from the HC can easily turn the TTK advantage completely moot. Yes, there's the "I'm tired of being killed by them" talking too, but they've been at 25+ percent usage for all but a few months out of 3.5 YEARS. Of course that's going to get stale, and it shouldn't be shrugged off because "they'll always be meta" or "they're iconic." They're too bloated of a toolkit. Literally every piece of data or code says they're too good.

Obviously the weapon doesnt completely make the user but hand cannons are so easy to use that if you give a decent player a hand cannon and a skilled plsyer an auto rifle the worse player will win because they have a better gun. Hand cannons are good enough that they will do that. When taking off a hand cannon is a handicap even when you are playing againsf worse players than you there is an undeniable problem.

Never been a meta in Destiny history that you must use those three or don’t play, no other guns got that much demand or respect only handcannons and shotties lol

  • 1) Good, then they need another probably cause it wasn't enough. Spoiler alert, people are going to go for the strongest thing they can, and if that is *mostly* HCs, that means they need more adjustments. 2) Sure. Another 'Get Gud'. Or...just don't PvP amirite? 3) I do fine. About average. Must be complaining about 'every little thing' Hyperbole much?

    1) So, you're saying using what's feasible is bad? Well, in that same regard, there are people going around destroying people with scouts, fusions, side arms. 2) Git gud is a perfect answer for this - I just wanted to be diplomatic about it. You're argument doesn't have much base since you want to spend all your time complaining about a weapon that's very easy to counter, rather than working on your personal stats, like k/d. One easy way without changing your favorite loadout is to team shoot. 3) You are far from average. Even I'm not average, because I can only be successful in a team environment. People who spend time complaining, have time to learn to play better. No one stats off as a PvP legend, you are a perfect example. You have nowhere to go but up

  • if you knew anything about video games, particularly those with PvP elements, you'll know it is impossible to balance. There are an infinite variation of skills. They haven't been able to balance since the 90's when PvP games were beginning to come out - and they can't even come close now. The best thing about it being imbalanced is you can either cry about it and eventually be a quitter, or you can focus, get better, and learn from your mistakes. If you're even spending a second complaining instead of doing something about it, it's a complete waste of time. Just because you want the easy way out, don't waste space when you know you're going to get trolled, little boy
