Just stop playing PvP. If everyone decided for a week or so to not enter the Crucible, that'll speak more words than all the posts on this forum. PvP players, just...take a break. Play another game for a week or so. Don't touch the Crucible.
If the numbers drop to next to 0, well, that speaks volumes.
Just my thoughts on it.

Edited by A_mo: 3/5/2022 4:10:14 PMMy break started last tuesday. I think what did it for me (at least one of the things) was a few too many times playing PvP and then landing in the Throne World immediately after playing PvP. Especially given the fact that behind you is a swamp and in front of you is this heavenly looking place when you land there. But even more than that its the difference between what it felt like to move my character around. Just too totally different. Shooting guns feels drastically different and moving feels drastically different. Its not even hard for me to not want to play that. Not hard at all to not play PvP if I'm not going to be doing damage.

When loading in, my Titan felt super fast moving. But looking around was so sluggish. Took me a while to adjust myself. There are a lot of games out there. I've been playing some Horizon Forbidden West and starting to look at Elden Ring(though I absolutely suck at From Software games)

I was looking at Elden Ring but it seems like a lot to get into if this is already my main game. Plus the PvE part of this game is really good right now. But when it comes to PvP I'm one of the few people that post on here that many might consider having addiction issues (although I consider that kind of stuff to be mostly bs) and every time I think of playing it I cringe to myself. If the answer to some people not being able to do it is to jack up other peoples' gameplay all that tells me is that whoever decided to do that has some kind of issue. All I could think when struggling to finish my first valor reset is that there is no reason whatsoever for me to be taking part in this nonsense. People should not be validating the way that works in any way shape or form.

Didn’t the community force them a handful of times to change stuff just because we went on strike? Like with the public events on the moon or collecting dawning spirit etc? That might work tbh

There was that season with the towers. A community event that everyone was burned out on that happened at the end of that season. People just refused to do it.
