Crating weapons, by itself, is pretty damn cool, and I feel a welcome change to Destiny.
I understand the material cost for shaping a weapon with the desired perks. However, when reshaping a weapon the material cost becomes a roadblock, if say, one decides that, they want to try out enhanced perks.
The material cost to re-unlock/re-shape a weapon with enhanced perks that had been previously unlocked and swapped out is exorbitant. Would it be possible to keep enhanced perks unlocked once they've been shaped? If not, would it be possible to reduce cost for reshaping (perks that had been previously unlocked) to the more basic materials (in the same vain as changing armor elemental affinity to just glimmer and a upgrade module, but since it's crafting, keep it the basic crafting materials).

1 ReplyIf they want us to experiment like it says in the tutorial, they need to allow us to gather the resources to do so. Imo its not really cost thats the issue, its the resource cap which is hella low for some reason I'm sure. I'm fine with the costs, but those costs seem high when to craft or adjust one thing requires half of what little I can carry. Its like ascendant shards I guess. Someone at Bungie decided that these materials should be valuable enough to have a low cap even though they know that means we won't spend it because we can only carry a small amount. Now just like people are using their post master and vaults to hoard extra ascendant shards via masterworked exotic armor, they're doing the same with resonant weapons, what a -blam!- surprise. It honestly feels childish to me. People need vault space because they're hoarding as a way to bypass caps, Bungie say you should just use your resources.
