Bungie has been designing for the hard-core / non-causual player for years. If you have a full-time job, just play games for fun, and maybe want to play another game sometimes; you'll constantly be annoyed by the Destiny 2 design choices: revive limits, wipes, walling adept rewards behind grandmaster and trials, no queues for raids, kill X hundreds to level/for bounty/catalyst/..., repeat X dozens of times to level/for bounty/catalyst/..., etc.

  • Majority of players in destiny 2 are late 20s to 40s. Trust me, we have full time jobs, girlfriend's family and especially money. That's why eververse and content is tuned out the way it is.

  • that's rather presumptuous of you. Bungie has actually catered more to casuals and freeloading glue sniffers. Why do you think so many veterans refused to play D2 until Forsaken came out? I have a full time job, a life, and still manage to get things done. It's just called time management. If that is not the flavor for people who "just want to have fun", then there are plenty of other games out there for the casuals of the casuals to play - like Fall Guys
