  • No risk? when in solo the legendary campaign is a cakewalk. but when in a three man the health scaling is outright ridiculous unless using things like Gally or parasite(And pray heavy ammo spawns).I spent 3 hours with two friends trying to beat savathun on legendary campaign, 9 times out of 10 dying to an out of nowhere blade barrage navigating through the smallest opening at my face, or triple nova bombed into a corner all while trying to kill 3 tanky wizards, all while NO HEAVY SPAWNS FOR ANY OF US. Even while we are running double heavy ammo finders for our heavy weapons. Takes 5-6 of my null composure or cartesian coordinate fusion to kill the threadweaver wizard. You say there is no risk if the rez token was gone? to be honest keeping the token is fine, if maybe giving us a means to earning more, or maybe just as stated, put the tokens in a pool. Or better yet remove the TIMER altogether. And not only that but the timer doesn't reset. Explain to me why legendary CAMPAIGN has more punishing modifiers and timers than raids? Any way If the timer was removed it wouldn't be so bad and wouldn't be so demoralizing when your having good runs only to have them end by shitty things or bad rng and the game auto wipes you. If you had half a brain and paid attention to the comments instead of your brain dead "git gud" mentality this game and some of its mechanics might actually be better. Tell me what part of FUN is spending 3 HOURS on the final boss to get decent power boost and such and an emblem and such all because you are wiping, not necessarily because of -blam!- ups, but because the game says "Oh you want to clutch this out by yourself? Nah piss off" Yes I understand that the mechanic deters a bit from people dying and getting CARRIED. But sometimes people even those who are god tier at the game makes mistakes, and the game punishing you for something out of your control is stupid. In D1 raids on hard mode YOU HAD ABSOLUTELY NO REVIVES. If someone dies they are gone, but the team in some raids if they had the damage and capabilities could clutch it out still (Except for King's fall for most of its encounters) You cannot do that at all in D2. Its either you stay alive or everyone wipes. I remember VOG in D1 where someone dies and could still manage a completion Or at the very least could take your time picking them up. Nowadays we have to play stupid(At least in campaign) and get the revive or we wipe. Long story short everything around the Rez token(As it is) sucks and needs to be looked at, either by removing the timer altogether and keep the one token per person or give us the means in those activities to either regain tokens or put them in a pool for everyone to use.

Get good mentality? You've spent an entire comment section complaining about a lack of heavy, used a void weapon against solar shields (why???) and some vain attempt to add hero moments. Sorry but anything that allows for some form of carrying doesn't sit right with me. I hate that term in and of itself really. The next point you jabber on about is rez tokens. Designed to give you a chance to comeback , the timer added to put pressure on. Or to encourage you to stick together and not spread out thinner than paper. "Explain to me why legendary CAMPAIGN has more punishing modifiers and timers than raids?" It wasn't designed on the raid level........it was based on a Nightfall approach and I have a sneaking suspicion they used the basis of Master more than Grandmaster due to Master having more punishing modifiers (attrition for example). Before I forget to ask. What's out of your control in the campaign? A team mate dying to their own stupidity or lack of self awareness? Encourage them and help them. There's the "git gud" mentality that I hate or there's the "Here let me help you improve" mentality. The latter I don't express often due to the resistance of people who think they know better but continue to make the same mistakes.

  • Pretty sure the "guaranteed wipe timer" is also a big part of the issue, bud. Being able to clutch a win without a party member or two literally is impossible and requires near perfection to get through a single encounter. It doesn't improve gameplay, it arbitrarily increases difficulty for the sake of it not being able to be done even if a mistake was made. Like King's Fall, a single person made a single mistake on a mechanic? Insta-wipe, start from beginning because of one mistake. Remember how that didn't happen in every other raid before the idiotic token/timer mechanic? It took multiple losses that you could still come back from. This just removes the idea of a clutch victory you worked back up from the bottom to get.

  • Well there has to be a challenge somewhere or you can keep ressing or sit there while you wait for someone to carry you forward. I guess actually making an effort is a problem in gaming now. You make a mistake fine. Run it back and learn from it. It was really not that hard. I did the campaign 3 times. Once as a full team and twice as solo. Do better or play in the lower difficulty. No one's forcing people to play a mode designed to be punishing.

  • People can die less…. And if it is a problem then play even more conservatively.
