Osiris is dead (truth) Savathun is dead (lie) The witness birthed the darkness (lie) Our destiny lies outside our system (true) This is what I think because Osiris is still unconscious, Savathuns ghost is still out there, they said multiple times he the Witness is not the darkness, and we probably will leave the Sol. -
and we probably will leave the Sol.
There have been multiple hints of a human settlement founded by those that managed to flee the collapse in time. Hints dropped by Drifter, Effrideet and a ship from the Warmind expansion. The lore tab for the ship Aventernal XXII.. the pilot witnessed the collapse and tried to make it to Ross 128 for help. Ross128 is 19ly from Sol.

Savathun is dead, her ghost is not. Savathun isn’t immaru. -
Unless the traveler revoked savathun’s light upon her death. We don’t really know if Immaru still exists….

He talks to the guardian sometimes when you do patrols -
Yeah but are patrol voices after the campaign considered canon? Really hard to say, given their nature.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t be -

I know, but who's to say that she didn't mean that she will come back in the future? It seems weird that they would say Savthun is dead, and use up one of the truths, when really it is likely to be much more elaborate than that. I find it very likely that Savathun will come back, as I think we might need her help in the battle against the darkness. -

Well yeah, I think she’ll come back too but at the current time she is dead. The Guardian even says it in the final cutscene. -
Osiris is dead (lie) Savathun is dead (truth) The witness birthed the darkness (?) Our destiny lies outside our system (?) I’ll bet our destiny does lie outside the system and the third one is a lie. The Final Shape or whatever comes after could have us go after the being that birthed the darkness and the traveler.
Pretty sure it was “The witness was birthed from the darkness” not what you said
-
Nah, atleast for me too she said the witness birthed the darkness, but there are usually slightly different lines when you play it again
Nah, atleast for me too she said the witness birthed the darkness, but there are usually slightly different lines when you play it again
Idk im willing to bet the big twist is the witness is related to the light and we will fight the witness before they reach the solar system

Nope I recorded it on Xbox. She says “The Witness birthed the darkness” -
That third one is in a weird position, because if you replay the altars she has more things to say, and she has two different sets of dialogue that begin with "This is what the witness is" or something along those lines. In one she claims that the witness was of a race that was blessed by darkness the same way we humans are blessed by the light, and that those people were not satisfied with the power the darkness gave them and fell to greed and corruption, and the witness was "forever changed" (presumably to be disillusioned with life, thinking it unworthy to live in some way) In the other, she claims that the witness birthed the darkness, but the darkness also has a will of it's own, and that it is limited by it's "tight fisted ruler," also stating we have caused a tug of war for control over the darkness which she hopes we will win. In some ways these claims sound like they contradict eachother, but in others they could still theoretically both be true, so there is a very real possibility that the witness birthing the darkness is a truth. However, I think that the thing about our destiny lying beyond our system is probably absolutely true, so my guess is either the thing about the witness birthing the darkness is a lie, or both osiris being dead and savathun being dead are lies.
