The solution is so simple
Separate the sandboxes completely
Pvp - every player gets the exact same loadout. No supers, grenades or abilities
This would make pvp dull but would there would be no more crying for nerfs that ruin things in other areas. Also the forums and streamers would cry less
Pve - leave untouched. Nothing in pve no matter how powerful effects anybody in any way except streamers and toxic elitists that want to gatekeep content

Am I mistaken or haven’t they already started separating the sandboxes?
-
Edited by Zer0Warri0r: 3/2/2022 4:47:39 PMyeah but Bungie even after 7 years of making destiny are still only dancing with this idea. They seperate the sandboxes in some areas like lucky pants extra damage not being in PVP. But still nerfing bubble to a 25% damage bonus in both PVE and PVP bc dev quote "you can get sniped in a well tho" .
-
Why would you need more than a 25% damage boost, from a super as strong as bubble in pvp? Especially considering the TTK I’d already averaging .75 seconds or less? Sigh y’all got some wild opinions
-
I dont care if its nerfed in PVP I care that its nerfed in PVE. If they only reduced the damage buff to 25% in PVP I could not care less.
-
I agree with separating the sandboxes. But not for the reason of allowing op broken builds in pve. If you wanna feel overpowered than you can. 90% of this game is so easy you should feel overpowered with blue weapons lol.
-
Lol that's a hard pass for me. Look at halo infinites player count now. Games dead before it got any traction. No thanks. Glad you are not a dev of this franchise.

Do like you said, separate sandboxes completely, but don’t kill pvp.

Pvp players and their constant cries to nerf anything that looks at them are already killing it🤷🏼♂️

Bungie, hire this guy for a salary with stock options. I bet he doesn't have a degree in journalism.
-
You would be correct. I don’t have a degree in journalism. Just common sense
-
Why would you call it common sense when you make comments about basically destroying PvP? Separate sandboxes would be fine. People say to go play other PvP games, but when things are close to balanced there are a lot of people that prefer destiny’s style over some regurgitated CoD. Making biased anti-PvP comments doesn’t display any realistic level of sense at all. Guess it’s true what they say. Common sense isn’t common.

Edited by Corrick II: 3/2/2022 12:11:13 AMYeah, this is pretty much how I’d like it to be. Yes, I know an unbalanced game can lead to boredom and frustration, but a perfectly balanced game isn’t much fun either. It’s nice when every once in a while (not all the time) there’s a powerful combo of weapons and mods that lets us live the space warrior power fantasy. What would technically be unbalanced weapons and abilities don’t bother me because I just play to have fun, not to put myself through some kind of character-building grind simulator. That’s what reality is for.

Well I mean can you imagine it A hive god invades the system and you’re sent on your merry way to put a stop to it. All fine right. Until Zavala tells you that you’re not allowed to take the best weapons from your arsenal or hit use your strongest abilities to fight it because someone(let’s call them saddo) doesn’t want you to
