Personally, I absolutely hate it. I don't mind the heavy ammo box and other changes I haven't really noticed tbh, but what does bother me, is calling up a Primeval, then you have to run away to deal with the envoys. So you do that, come back, take down the bosses health by a third, then stop, go and run away again and deal with two more envoys, an invader comes in, Gjallarhorn, at least two guardians die, the Primeval now has full health again, and you do this over, and over, and over until one side gets lucky. It takes WAY too long and it completely ruins Gambit, making it so I don't want to play it at all. I like the way it was before, when you could melt the boss. If one team can't melt the boss, then they need to learn how, and come prepared. One of my questions to Bungie is, do you even play your own game? How did you not notice this? Is this what you consider fun? It's not fun, it's just irritating and intentionally dragging out the grind, which was already bad in Gambit to begin with.

  • Personally I'm okay with the new Gambit changes. But I'm also not big on PVP so to me this feels like a little less PVP and more about the PVE side of it. I think a lot of people don't like it because you can't stack invasions anymore and completely stomp the other team. But I do agree that getting one kill and completely healing the primeval is a bit much.
