WQ was amazing, there's only one plot hole that I've noticed. This is a major spoiler, so click away if you haven't played yet.
was it savathuns plan to just die and hope the traveller chose her? What assurance did she have that she would be rezzed, bc she knew she would die if she lost her worm. Also why is it that hive are just now being chosen by ghosts? If it was truly just a choice by the traveler, what happened to make it decide to resurrect the hive? I feel like we would've encountered them by now, especially since every ghost that will ever exist already does. Why haven't we encountered non human guardians before if it's really just the ghosts choice?
Savathun didn't know for sure that the Traveler would res her. It was a leap of faith... to an extent. She'd clearly been researching into how the Traveler selects potential guardians and it stands to reason that she simply starting going through ticking those criteria off of her list. Once she was done, she would let herself die and hope that she was right. And she was. As for the Lucent Brood, the simplest explanation may be that Savathun being chosen simply opened the floodgates for hive-sympathetic ghosts. They would think that if the Traveler had chosen the literal head honcho of the hive, surely they would be justified in following suit with the hive of their choice. Dunno how the hive ghost shells became a thing though, or how it works when ghosts supposedly all came into creation after the collapse and each has only one destined guardian from the moment they're made, (replacement guardians like Shin Malphur don't count). Then again I guess maybe they don't have only one. I mean Pulled Pork felt that Crow was his guardian and he wasn't around for centuries after PP was created.
