I just finished it last night. I'm going to be honest, I don't see why people are holding the Legendary difficulty in such high regard. All Bungie did was make the ads take more hits, hit harder, and give limited revives. That's been Bungie's definition of difficulty for years. It doesn't make content hard, it just makes things go slower.

The campaign has alot of raid mechanics. Being as 80% of the community has not done a raid, they're starting to see that boss fights are fun. In addition, forcing players to finish hive guardians means they have to push up and get in the action. Indirectly, players move away from their passive playstyles into something more aggressive. That aggressive playstyle that Bungie tried to push is sort of happening.
