Terms say that Bungie can change/remove content as they please.
You agreed to those terms, so…

I mean, yes, but the only two options are "hit agree" or "don't play". If there was an option to just stay behind in the pre-Beyond Light D2, I'd have definitely taken it rather than deal with Stasis in PvP, lol. Sadly, no such option exists.

Thing is, you need to agree to the terms of you want access to anything these days. With so many people wanting to sue for little reasons, companies are doing their best to cover their backs.

No, I get it. Just bemoaning the inability to remain with an old version of D2, even if it would be entirely impractical for several reasons.

Here’s an idea. Anyone who owns the disc version of d2 can go back and only play story content up to beyond light. It would be like a separate game or something.

I know. Just trying to offer a way to get old content without having to pay twice.
Personally, I wouldn’t care but I’d imagine the forums would throw a fit.

Thets not what it says it say bungle can make change
Removing content is making a change to the product. When you hit -blam!- you’ll possibly understand that

Doesn’t matter if it ethical or not. Can I tell you a secret? Companies doesn’t care about ethics.
