This is the review I gave on steam:
"You" reffering to the player "are hopeless. You have the worst gear you can ever imagine, and you have to torture yourself in order to even unlock the chance to get better gear. In the crucible, the multiplayer, the reason that I played this game, there is nothing but sweatlords with meta builds that have maxed out the recovery stat and can 1hk you with shotguns, and the damage their weapons deal is OH BABY THE TRIPLE of what yours deal, OH YEAH!, and there is absolutely no way you are having fun, and if you talk about this in that chat you will get bullied 100%, except if your teammates are such dumdums that don't write in the chat.
The game possibly has skill based matchmaking, everyone will say they removed it, but judging by my experience, it 90% exists. This could explain how the game gives me mouth breathing, paste eating, EGG S***ING, tin foil chewing M***NS on my team, against faze wannabes for a lot of matches, and then it gives me few good games to keep me HOOKED!!!!! And then I hear the anouncer say: The enemy, PREVAILS!
U! U! U! U! That opened all th red light bulbs in my brain. I started spemming Alt & F4 as hard as I could, at the risk of destroying my keyboard, until the game finally closed and I was finally releaved. I uninstalled this game, if I ever install it again it will be purely out of stockholm syndrome, there is no point of playing, all i get is rising blood pressure. I would prefer to breath chlorine gas from a ww1 gas grenade and cough blood and parts of my lungs than play this dumbster fire of a game.
Oof, I had a little mental breakdown there. At least I said eveything and made my rage away like that."
That was enough Destiny 2 for me, I QUIT! I just wanted to have some fun. Do I ask for much? (You answer in the poll)

As of now.. destiny is very punishing to your new players, casual players and those playing limited modes. There is no argument against that… But the point of the game is to play all the content to have an easier/better time in the mode you want to play in. With the direction of build crafting bungie is leaning into heavily, this is only going to get tougher on those that do not commit to the above scenario. The game may not be for you… But it is not a negative on the game.. There are negatives, once again no argument there, but it does not mean many will agree with your points. Embracing the seasonal mods makes end game pve content easier. In said content is your high tier loot. Loot that gives players advantages in both the pve aspect and PvP aspect. This is the entire purpose of the game. Not embracing it does make a players enjoyment harder to achieve being that their builds are not as strong or are harder to achieve to match others that are embracing the game in its entirety.
