I’ll admit it’s trying to be but the community is so toxic now with these new lights and snowflakes that flood this game and don’t understand what destiny is about. It’s astonishing how far people have fallen

A good portion of toxicity and elitism is coming from veterans as well. New Lights are often willing to learn about game's systems and features, and are greeted with "git gud" message. I'm pretty active on this forum, lurking most of the time, and i've seen a lot. Pointing the fault exclusively onto either newbs or elders is simply not just.
...these new lights and snowflakes that flood this game and don’t understand what destiny is about.
Now that's the problem of Bungie's own making. Red War, although not perfect by any means, has had, and still would have, huge introductory value, to the systems, gameplay and lore alike. A value that, imho, outweighs the hindrance it may have to the game engine.

Bungie got a new game engine just weeks after removeing content and is now ownd by sony so has more muney no one asked bungie for more d2 every one out side of bungie told bungie the dcv was to high a price to pay for more d2 bungie makes a lot of problems for its self and never lerins

You cant blame it all on the community a lot of it is bungie back in destiny 1 bungie listind to the community and allways let us have a say in things thet wood effect the community and game in a big way bungie worked hard to keep a good relationship with the destiny community and you wood feel bungie respected you now jump to last year bungie gave all control of runing destiny 2 to Luke smiht who made the base game free to play then canceled destiny 3s release and turn its base game in to the buond light dlc for d2 breaking bungies contract with its publiser as the contract was for 10 destiny games not just 2 he then started up the dcv the community and 100 bungie devs spoke out against the dcv but Luke wood not listin so 100 bungie devs quit and most of the veteran and core players quit do not low quality content and bungie removeing good quality content thers no relly way for new players to understand the game do to the dcv all new players see is a game with lots of cosmetics a bit of pve pvp and a session pass so new player just see destiny 2 as the new fortnight people spoke out on the forums about what bungie is doing and How we have no say then get attacked by fan boys and bungie is just so over controling and ye you do get people who go on the forums just to pick on people and start fights and free to play players can be a problem i am a hunter main and remember all the free to play players kicking of about How op the hunters dark super is saying it was rouning pvp and call for it to be nurffed just koss you need beund light to get it and beund light is not free but no one wants to buy content you cant keep

Edited by jidori: 2/16/2022 11:19:56 PMAlso destiny content vault has been around forever More on this would be between expansions you couldn’t get the previous expansion loot to drop because it was left behind and if you did have that loot it would stay at a certain light cap hence sunsetting but for me it wasn’t a problem because you can get new and sometimes better gear
-
Not really bungie tryed sunseting 2 times and gave up on it 2 time the first time was in d1 the 2d last year in d2 gear sunseting in d2 was not a problem for me its just the level thet got sunset with bonus level sunseting had no effect on your character level in 97% of the game really sunseting just effected you in iron banner and trials i have run night falls and riads with sunset guns and dun just aswell as with unsunset guns i think its wrong to try to force the community to use different guns the best way for bungie to get people to change guns is create really good guns thet people want to go after my big problem is with playable content being removed but i think in the end bungie will give up on the dcv

I doubt they’ll drop the dcv because why use a gamers console storage for campaigns that are years old and barely played, it makes sense that they do this. PS if you don’t see the dcv like I do you might as well be asking for the game size to be 200+ gigabytes which nobody wants because they wouldn’t have enough room to play the other games. Just my opinion on this and I will not discuss this any further because it is a waste of my time messaging people on why they should see this game any differently, simply IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DELETE IT, YOU ARE NOT FORCED TO PURCHASE ANYTHING YOU DONT WANT.

Your wrong about a lot of thet first destiny 2 is not a game be stop playing content and never play thet content again people go back to older content after doing all the new content or if thea do not like the new content and so not all content gets played by every one all the time thres no way bungie can every no who is going to go back to what second no official numbers got released by bungie to let us see who was playing what 3 be4 the dcv year be4 last i think it was bungie changed the games programing so campaigns cant be replayed so the question has to be asd was reson people stop play do to not being wanting to play or not being able to play the content the dcv was not the original plan d3 was think about this bungie is a bysiness and bysiness want muney Luke sihme wants the dcv as it makes muney you see first bungie remove all the old content then wrok hard to make the first session of every dlc good and get the in game shop in over drive this lets bungie make all the muney it wants in one session then it just gives us horde modes the rest of the dlc players nolonger have the option to go back and play older content if new content is bad its buy new content or quit destiny 2 thers no way to say the dcv is needed lots of games r biger then d2 was be4 the dcv and still keep adding more content so bungie is not on the level with us the Question is not is bungie gilty its what is bungie gilty of if bungie is lieing then it was not for space it was for muney as i told you if bungie is not lieing then its still gilty of cancel d3 turning its base game in to a dlc and removeing all thet content form the game noing its community do not want more d2 it was the original plan 8 more destiny games and final i will say in the end it my not be up to bungie if the dcv keeps going under business ethical a business cant take a action or actions thet can be seen as unerhical or emoral bungie r selling content then takeing back what you buy and keeping the muney this is unerhical and players do have rules and politics thet give us rights and able to play what we buy bungie i think has forgotten this businesss will allways create tos in a way thet is often better for the business then the player thets way we needed business ethicas and y we as a community have to hold bungie responsible for its actions and ideas if it likes it or not and not just give in all the time bungie has lost a lot do to the dcv it has lost its title for Best relationship with a gameing community and its title for Best game at keeping players 100 devs quit over the dcv all d2s veteran and core players have gon back to destiny 1 and quit d2 all the big YouTubeers have turned on bungie i happen to be a game director so i understand ho createing and runing games work what bungie is doing is wrong

I’m not blaming the entire community but most of it is toxic as soon as you share an ideal that isn’t everyone else’s
