This behavior contribute to the cheating problem trials of osiris have.
Edit: it was so blatant in fireteam finder I actually thought it wasn’t a ban reason, then the question would be if bungie should actually do something about it, like rank placements, legal teams actually closing carries pages, twitch streamer “free carries” being banned, etc.
Edit2: Despite friends and family being not as shady, it can still be used as an excuse to avoid bans, so I think this is also part of the problem, probably the solution would be freelance only and ip locked queue.

Being honest I think that bungie needs to eliminate the need for paid carries by stop trying to be a private club for the try hardest. There honestly should not be any part of the game that is restricted from any player who paid for the content. I know that's going to piss some people off and honestly that's a big part of the problem. A few years ago some moron at bungle said it was "absolutely intended" that most players would never go to the light house, never compete a raid. Since then bungle claims to be committed to ending a culture of toxic ableism. As long as you need someone to carry you to the light house or carry you on a raid, that's effectively the same as saying "we're equal access to all customers" because a person in a wheel chair can always ask someone to carry them up the stairs. Want to get rid of paid carries? I want to get rid of the concept of carrying. The very term it's self is ableist. The people with the highest skill should of course have the easiest access, but everyone should have access by one means or another. I don't care if it's slow and you have to go out of your way, it needs to be there and that player on reaching the top should not have others staring at them like they don't have an equal right to be there.
