A pale Elven woman draped in a crow feathered cloak approaches the edge of a rooftop, black hair billowing in the wind. She takes a seat and kicks excitedly, watching the show with glowing violet eyes.
"What fun!" She smiles and examines the other vampires from her perch.

The other vampires are either fighting, or oddly, trying to converge in a central location. If she has any form of magic sense, she can tell that there’s an immensely powerful force sitting where the vampires are trying to converge.
-
"Oh, shiny!" Dropping her cloak, revealing fancy traveling clothes with bits of black leather armor and no visible weapons, she pushes off the egde of the roof and descends to the streets below. Intent on approaching the source of the shiny magics!
-
Once she makes in a bit in, she’s stopped by a incredibly strong magical force field.
-
My phone just cannot hold a charge lately, also switching to 1st person, 3rd just irks me to use
"Little pig, little pig, mah I come in?" I'll drag my nails across the field to test it's strength
-
Nothing responds. The field is incredibly strong. Much stronger then any kind of mortal could make.
-
"Hmm..." I'll turn from the field and extend a hand in attempt to summon my sword. (And also test if my magics wonky in its presence!)
-
The sword is summoned like normal!
-
The blade is longer and more thin than the standard longsword, and made from a crystalline material covered in frost! It just has a bit more reach and do a bit of icy damage aswell. "Excuse me, beasties!" I'll call out to the other vamps, "I've a question!"
-
Three vampires approach, one staring at her eyes. “You seem…like us…but under…different guidance.” They hiss.
-
"I'm nobodies thrall. Now, the other one told us something about your blood..." As they get closer I'll drag a line in the ground before me, placing my free hand behind my back and bowing. "...may I have some?"
-
They stare at her like she has three heads. “Why…would you desire our blood?”
-
"Well, not your blood specifically, any will do," With my hidden hand I'll begin channeling shadowy magic. "But you're all conveniently available and seemingly expendable, so why not?"
-
“We still feel…and blood is strong…you cannot have it.” They all take a step back.
-
I assume we're in the street surrounded by buildings?
-
yup!
-
"Fine." I'll start wigglin my finger behind my back, weaving the shadows between them to create a web across the street behind the other vampires, and point the sword towards them! "I'll just take it from you."
-
They see the shadows and hiss. “You shall not…you will not.” They attempt to run.
-
The previous comment was casting the spell after the channeling from before. The spell fills the area behind them with thick spider webbing 20' wide and tall, it slows things down with a chance to trap them!
As they retreat I'll lung at the closest and slash at them with my sword!
-
Whoops, sorry! So two are captured, one is slowed!
She manages to get a good slice one a captured vamp, and the one that’s slowed starts to run.
-
I didn't really word it well, sry!
"Hmm, two may be enough." I'll raise a hand to call the blood to flow around me in a stream and try to quickly dispatch the wounded vamp with my sword in the other!
-
The blood does as you command, and the wounded vampire’s screaming is stopped pretty easily. Instead of yelling for help, the other vampire stares at you. “What…are you….you command my powers of shadow…yet you are not me….have other beings learned to control the shadows?”
-
Edited by Unseelie2427: 11/6/2021 4:37:06 PMI'll turn to them with a surprised smile, "Are you the master speaking through these minions? Or is this a sort of 'hive mind' deal?"
-
“Speaking through them…I’d never wish to share a mind with them. I’m too above that.”
-
"Ah, Lady Volariden," I'll announce with a slight curtsy, "This bloodfeast has been entertaining, but this magic? That's intriguing."
-
“Mm…intriguing? Why, may I ask?”
