Rigel holds up the slip to Cateye, then slips it in his pocket.
"This is a bad idea, Rigel."
"It'll be fun! I've never been on a spaceship!"
"You have, day 312. We went to... whatever. I'll tell you later."
Rigel heads towards the spaceship, idly chatting with Cateye.

A large door opens up, and a man wearing a cloak looks down. You can’t quite make out his body, but his face is pretty badly scarred, but his eyes constantly shift colors. His hair seems to be a sand like color. “Welcome! You’re one of the first to arrive!”
-
"Thanks! It's nice to be here, I think." "Sure. What is... all of this? Just wondering." Rigel tries to lean around him and peer into the ship.
-
The man grins, missing some teeth. “No time, no time! We have many things to see, and I have many places to show you!” He turns around and starts to walk inside.
-
"Trap." "Shush." Rigel follows, and Cateye begins to pan around, watching.
-
The hallway they walk down is pristine, and every step echoes due to its size. “So, what exactly are you, friend?”
-
"Good question. Cateye here says I'm a star." "Stop telling everyone that, please." "Whatever! I'm bright, and toasty! Star!"
-
“Hm…star.” He motions for a drone, and whispers to it, before it zooms off, far ahead of them. “What brought you to this….unique planet, Star-Boy?”
-
"Dunno. I just woke up here." "Thank heavens, you keep your mouth shut."
-
“…hm.” He keeps walking. “Do you know if your homeworld?”
-
"Stars don't have homeworlds, right? I guess my nebula? I don't know, though."
-
“Huh…well, there’s weirder creatures with home worlds.”
-
"Yeah, I'll bet. So, what is this place? Your house?"
-
He shrugs. “House. Lab. Transport. It’s big enough to be a hotel.”
-
"So... hm." "No. You cannot stay with him." "Come on, there's room!"
-
The man smiles slightly. “Don’t worry, you can stay! I’ll show you around!”
-
"He's not staying here." "Grump." "You can't insult me, Rigel."
-
“…why can’t he?” The man asks. “I’ll feed him, give him shelter, and keep him safe.”
-
"..." "Like... a pet?" "No. We're leaving."
-
He shakes his head. “No, no, nothing like a pet! I just provide for those who live in my care!”
-
“No. Rigel, other way. We’re out.” Rigel turns to leave, and looks over his shoulder back at him, brand blank. “You sure? He just seems protective. We could use that.” “He could be working with them.”
-
“…them?” He sounds confused then jumps. “Ah! You’re being hunted! This ship could keep you safe. Little star!”
-
“It could!” “No. We’re fine on our own.”
-
“..are you sure? These people sound dangerous!”
-
“We’ve made it this far.” “By hiding, Cateye!”
-
“Mhm! You don’t need to hide here! Heck, some would say you could even put yourself on display, all the time!”
