The auto rifle archetype itself is honestly what sucks about it, bungie should increase the damage of all 360 auto rifles. I remember back in D1, vex was able to get 4 headshot kills and it had rampage (was called crowd control). If bungie gives vex rampage again and make it so 360 auto rifles only require 4 headshots like it did in D1, the archetype and vex overall would be much better. I know some of you are scared of an auto only needing 4 headshots for kills but understand the range for 360’s are not the greatest and nowhere near a pulse rifle and their fire rate is extremely slow. The slower a weapon fires, the more damage it needs to do per shot right? Its common sense. If you think about it, suros basically becomes a 360 in its slow fire mode, it shoots just as fast as a scout rifle but obviously without the range of a scout but takes less flinch when used on its expected range. The problem with auto rifles overall is even though their fire rate is the same as a scout, their damage does not make up for it. Idk who does the balancing at bungie but all they gotta do is make the dps of the underperforming archetypes the same as D1. Vex should kill in 4 headshots again, the range on that thing is what made it balanced.
