The strike playlist is dead.
There is no campaign to replay.
Weapons pool is tiny & has holes (certain archetypes missing)
Gambit is a one sided mess.
Cosmodrome is almost pointless.
Raids are gone.
PvP is a mess.
Europa was cool for 2-3 weeks, but now it has jus settled as a bland white space with annoying weather.
I love(d) this game, but this DCV & sunsetting has jus choked the life & variety out of it.
It's now a small, stunted collection of ok ideas executed badly.
As for the community event 🙄

I could not agree more with this post. Every point is bang-on exactly how I've been feeling for the last few weeks.

49 hours and 57 minutes sure is a lot of time played in the last week for somebody who actually feels that way about the game.

That's how I know it's gotten bad. I no-life this game (old & single & made redundant cos the Corona) and the last few weeks I've realized how small it is now. I've never felt this restricted in D2. I only solo pve & I've never been stuck for something to do, but now that's a problem. Outside of builds, I find myself aimless, where as before, I would skip thru the planets, doing bounty grinding, adventures, flashpoint heroic, forge grinding.. all sorts of things to pump away at with a podcast on.. now that loop has been reduced to the detriment of my experience... As for chasing god rolls? Why bother. It'll get binned. So when I fire up D1 & see what's available.. I can do the entire campaign if I want. Or PoE. Or loads of strikes. Or daily Heroics (which can be brutal depending on modifier) but with D2? Your choice is significantly reduced. They took too much, and gave too little. And at that price point..

The game has gotten bad do to the free to play side that’s where the core aspect of the game is and as long as free to play is here will always be bad do to the core activities not being updated. New light is the worst thing that happened to destiny and might be the thing that actually kills destiny

i dunno if that's the major cause tbh. it's certainly an issue. the decision to vault content was a really bad sign from the off. it felt, to me, that they jus couldn't commit to steadying the ship, so they jumped into a smaller boat & hoped for the best. and he we are.. on the Subpar High Seas with little to do, and even less reason to do it 🤔
