A stranger enters the bar, he has to angle his head not to bang it againt the top of the doorframe. he's draped in a black, almost blight in color cloak that seems to bend n aborb the light that shines on it. It is clear despite the cloak n his height that he is of great build due to his wide shoulders n sharp stance. No one pays him mind but for a few glances but the tension of his presence alone is thick enough to cut. He looks about from under his hood n spots the unusual bottle that has everyones atention hooked. He walks over to a corner of the establishment that is least occupied n sits at one of the empty tables. He unbuckles a sheathed sword from his waist n lean it on the edge of the table, the blade itself was larger then the table itself from how far it leaned from the table, n had a unusual axe shaping to its tip, it's sheath had a unique n foreign symbol emblazed on it, n had large black stones embedded within it that gleamed n glisened. The stranger then put a brown satchel on the table n then rested back in his chair.

A knightly looking man approaches, garbed in a gold trimmed white cloak and surcoat that has a image of a dragon depicted on the front of it. He carries two sword sheaths, one seems to be radiant in design and holds a English longsword, the other is of a Roman design and holds no sword. He also has a very large build and is quite broad. “Hail friend. You have the looks of a warrior to you, as well as the gear to match it. I don’t see that too much around here. Mind if I sit?”
-
He nods from under his hood, n proceeds to look through his satchel
-
The man hesitates for a bit. “So... Are you new to this place? I don’t believe I’ve seen you.”
-
Edited by TheDragonLord83: 12/15/2020 4:49:28 AM" Yes, I recently acquired land on the outskirts of offtopic, a little weapons shop, I was in need of materials n stumbled across this place of drink as i explored..." He says in a low, deep, almost thunderous voice as he pulls out a worn-torn notebook n pencil, n what sounds to be a pouch of coins n sets them on the table. "what's with this bottle everyone is gauwking at?" He inquires as he opens the notebook, which from the few pages that can be seen are written in a peculiar looking, foriegn language, n begings jotting a few things down
-
“Oh it’s probably some new wine or something, he always tries to have something new each week I think. So you own a weapon shop then? What kind do you sell?”
-
"Yes. Any really, but they are exquisite, exotic in nature, weapohs made for those not faint of heart so to speak." He answers, before grumbling, seemingly annoyed with something "Are strangers usually left to become dust before they are waitered? Or am I a rare exeption?" He asks, finally making eye contact during the conversation, revealing his purple glowing eyes, while his facial features remain hidden by the shadow of the cloak
-
“This is a bar with a staff of two people, there is no waiting staff to come around and take orders. I believe you will have to go to the actual bar and order a drink if you want one, just like you do at a small bar like this.” He seems quick to defend the place, and short on patience when it comes to cloaked figures who sit in a corner and sell weapons that are not made for the faint of heart. “If you want I can go get us some mugs of mead or something, but I wish to know more about the weapons you sell. What makes them so unique?”
-
He notices the agitation in the knights voice, he cracks his neck in respones "it is unknightly to be impatient" He rests back in his chair before saying "the bars i've seen usually come to you in most cases, but no matter, n on matters of the weapons, some have sedn their fair share of history, some made from unique materials, some built of techologies older then any place you've seen, finally..." He looks down at his sword "some are just that...uniqu...to the point i can't even explain how it works...." He then got up n went over to the bar, taking his pouch of coins with
-
As he walk away the knight follows, looking at the mans strange sword and examining it. “I don’t know, I’ve seen some fairly ancient technology, and powerful blades. Things that a normal man couldn’t dream of wielding, or things that can conquer the greatest of warriors. Are your weapons like those?”
-
"they could conquer gods if the man weilding them had enough will..." He said as he arrived at the counter, he put his pouch down in front of him on the counter n waited for the bartender to finish his current order, while also keeping a eye on his blade still leaning on the edge of the table n his satchel n notebook sitting on the table
-
“Conquer gods? That’s a bold statement to make. What can some of these weapons do besides cut very well?”
-
"now that i cannot tell unoess we were in the privacy of my shop" he remarks before turning to the bartender n saying "two mugs of grog, n one of the new stuff" He then turned back to the knight while he fished around his pouch for payment "never know who would intend to steal such power, n what they would intend to do with it once they got it."
-
“Fair enough. I can’t help but be curious though. Where is your shop, perhaps I can stop by some day.”
-
"on the outskirts of offtopic, not that far out from here, if u look hard enough you'll find it, travlers often do" he said as the bartender came back with his order, he pulled a hanful of payment out of his pouch n set it on the table, revealing it to be four to five small glowy white triangles, before he grabbed his drinks n was about to go off back to his table, before the bartender cleared his throught none to happily "ah yes i forget" he mumbled to himself before putting the drinks down n asking "want to see a magic trick?" The question point at the knight n bartender

Edited by John Watson: 12/15/2020 6:26:55 PM“Sure, show me a magic trick. I don’t suppose you are to turn those triangles into gold or some kind of currency?”
-
"you are a insightful one...give me the highest form of curreny you got" he said to the knight n then the bartender, the bartender did just that n gave 1 bit of it to him, he set it in front of the triangles n grabbed his drinks n started walking back to the table "just watch..." He called back to the two, predicting their confusion, n a few secs after he said that the triangle closest to the currency began to shape n mold, before having completely change to resemble the piece of currency in every way possible, n after a few arcs of electricity between them, the rest of the triangles followed suit, there wer now six of the currency there, n the bartender wasn't complaining now "the best magic tricks are the ones that do themselves wouldn't you agree?" He asked from the table which he sat back down at "give the knight here whatever he wants keep" he said to the bartender from his table
-
He turns to face the man, not quite in awe or surprise because of the trick. “Quite a feat you just preformed. I have met a great many mages and a great many conjurers of cheap tricks , I’m guessing you are not the ladder of the two. So do you have a name or some form of identification?”

Edited by TheDragonLord83: 12/16/2020 4:07:36 AM"I'm neither actually, I just know how the world works, n it's many shortcuts that it decides to hide behind the veil. I left my title a long time ago, now those that make aquaintence with me seem to agree to the same name, they call me Drago. Now i get to ask who you are." He said as he took a sip from the mug containing the new stuff, noticing the sweetness of it immediately as it hit his tongue, he recoiled a tad bit but otherwise was fine, he then looked to see the see foam coloring of it. While it wasn't visible to the knight because of the darkness of the cloak, he was smiling n had a look of joyous nostalgia in his eyes,
-
“I am sir John Watson a knight-errant in the service of this city. Nothing as grand as knowing what the universe hides behind its vail but I’ve seen my fair share of strangeness and the unknown.”
-
He shook his head, shaking the nostalgia out of his system, he looked at the knight while he finished off the substance n proceeded to grab his first mug of grog. "well then sir john, now that we have formalities out of the way, grab yourselves a drink, pretty sure there was enough payment there for another one, on me of course." He said before sipping the foam off his grog.
-
He goes to the bar and orders himself a mug of mead then sits down again. “So, Draco, where do you come from? People from all across the stars gather in this place and you get quite a interesting mix of people.”
-
"I hail from a land far from here, but you've might of heard of it, I come from the land of lore, n if not just know it was a hefty journey here, n i can only assume you hail from this land of offtopic or am I mistakened?" He asks as he drinks from his mug, n shifts his weight a bit in the chair
-
“Yes, you are correct. I do hail from here. Although I believe I have once traveled to your lands, a long time ago.”
-
"Hope the journey n the land was good to you unlike it was to me...I had to flee my home n old shop in bit of a hurry ye see, n the farwell I recived in my haste was none to pleasant to say the least..." He remarked, not entirely drunkly, but buzzed at the very least, he pulled his satchel a little closer, opening it slightly n peeking into it, obviously to make sure nobody hadn't stolen anything, but accidentaloy revealing a white glow, n same type of blighted effect of his cloak, causing the white glow to slightly bend backwards twoards it, but before john could get a peek himself, he closed the satchel n took another chug of grog, finally feeling the effects of the drink sink into his skin
