Warlock Holmes enters the bar. The wizard, who has now become a rare sighting in offtopic, has the typical disheveled look that has adorned the wizards as of late. He is dressed in simple traveling robes and on his back is a pack which strangely has a towel attacked to its side. Under his arm he holds a stranger masked helmet that looks like it is made of a mix of brass and obsidian. More like two helmets merged into one.
But it is what he holds in his other arm that is really curious. Or more likely important. He holds a cat whose fur is a mix of grey and brown with dark stripes running across it. Unlike the wizard, the cat If finely groomed and adorned with a neckless that is carved to look like 7 connected stars. The creature holds itself in a noble regard but besides that it just looks like a normal cat.
The wizard sits down at the bar and places his fine feline companion on a stool next to him.
“Greetings Blaze how have you been? If it is not to much to ask could I get a warm cup of milk for my companion here?”

A figure wrapped in Grey lace-like robes melts into existence a few barstools away, ruby red skin and a black braid. "Holmes." I nod, glancing at the cat.
-
“Greetings. How art thou on this fine day?” The wizard asks. The cat looks upwards and meows towards you. It stares curiously and begins a tentative approach. Slowly it walks across the bar all the while looking at you.
-
I chuckle, and look at the cat. "Interesting entity you have here. And at the current time, I am rather fine thank you."
-
“He is indeed a fascinating creature. Cute to.” The cat looks strangely towards you before continuing its advance. It meows loudly.
-
I chuckle. "Is he sentient?"
-
“Well be is more intelligent that most cats I meet but I don’t know if I could say he is sentient like you and I. He still eagerly chases laser pointers, hunts mice, and acts generally like a normal cat even if he can understand language. Well he mostly just understands elvish.” The cat stops approaching and stares into your eyes as if it was trying to gaze into your mind. Of course it is just a cat so it cannot actually do that.

The cat jump back out of surprise that it actually worked. It sees into whatever you allow it and the feline stares with fascination and confusion. Although quickly it gets bored. Cats don’t have great attention spans anyways when it comes to the thoughts of possible cosmic beings so it decided just to lay down in the bar.
-
I laugh. "He's cute. How have your endeavors been?"
-
“It’s been the same as normal. Just the typical traveling the planes of existence doing this and that in the background. Not necessarily a bad thing.”
-
"Anything of interest? I admit I have not learned as much as I'd like to from you or anyone from your time."
-
“Everything of interest! Out there beyond the confines of the prime material plane everything is fascinating in its own way. But what do you mean by my time?”
-
"I'm saying that most of the older inhabitants fade, or leave. And not very many are arriving to uphold the traditions."
-
“Hmmm. I see. I guess that is all correct as even I have really seemed to fade into obscurity. Although there are many older than me. Even this cat roamed these streets longer than I.”
-
"Who is the cat in fact?"
-
“Oh this old magical cat from space? Well it’s just a old friend of mine. It probably knows more than I do but unfortunately it doesn’t talk much.”
-
"Knows more then you?" I raise an eyebrow.
-
“Well it knows more about itself sort of. I mean the creature is older, and yet at the same time, younger than I.” The cat approaches. This time looking to be pet.

The cat doesn’t seem to mind. Perhaps it likes it more. It seems to have a strange fondness for magic. “Stranger things has happened. This is offtopic at all. The chaos and strangeness is just normal order to us.”
-
"True..." I attempt to peer into the cat's mind.
-
As you attempt to peer into it you find the cats mind is powerfully warded. Both by the spells and magic of Warlock Holmes but also by the cats own will. It’s is surprisingly powerful when defending its mind. Now this doesn’t necessarily mean peering into its mind is impossible. After all Holmes and the cat are just mortals while you may be a cosmic being. I don’t know how strong your powers are though. There is defiantly more to This cat that Holmes is letting in on.
-
Oh I won't break in! I may have put around half a year into a Grey Lord but I don't like busting people's minds over my knee! Keria is just curious, and rather non-intrusive.
I attempt to send a request to get a glimpse, much as I let the cat.
-
The cat shows you the surface of its thoughts. It’s mind is quite scattered and it gets distracted easily. Currently it is thinking of vampires, the Soviet Union, time travel, wondering why a knight of offtopic has a strange strip of hair on his face, a particular sword, and then all these thoughts are pushed aside as the cat mostly thinks about its want for attention.

I chuckle, and keep scratching it's head.
