I liked the old method of leveling up and getting bright engrams. Dismantling gave bright dust. The occasional Eververse items would come out like the whisper skins and that would be fine.
The silver prices are currently too steep and cater to whales. If they lowered them they would get the whales and impulse buyers for some. The prices are offset so you always have wasted silver just sitting there as well.
The battle pass has an opportunity to to mend some of this. After level 20 or so it has a lot of blank spots in its upper slot. They could put bright dust and engrams in there for rewards. This should have been done from the get go and reward that grind.
A daily log in bonus that builds up with consecutive log ins could help too. They could give out occasional discounts for Eververse. Warframe does it and I love it.

Yeah that wasted silver pisses me off. Not even sure what I got with it as it was so long ago, and I never gonna buy more just to use what's leftover. Bungle can eabod.

Daily log-in rewards will definitely help. Like WarFrame.

I hated that system because i never got alot of brightdust per week and i played this game pretty hardcore back then leveling up around 20 time a week, i never got over 2k brightdust. I only ever got shaders and things that would either be unlocks or transmats. This new system is alot easier for getting brightdust. Ive known alot of people who had the same issues. And especially with tge way engrams are now i never get anything that would give alot of brightdust. Everything would be fine if the engrams that dropped would give the seasons eververse pool

There were a few ships and sparrows I liked and once I got the ghosts I needed for their planetary perks the rest I would discard. I was getting 400-500 dust per exotic (can’t remember) and like 200-300 per legendary. Especially when the engrams were offering season one rewards. That all got dismantled because I had everything. I can see where if someone was still collecting they wouldn’t be able to share as dismantle as much so it wouldn’t be as beneficial to a new player but they also would be getting most the rewards through the level up drops back then anyhow.
